Aaron is a health nut.

He is known for his workouts and his running.

It is very upsetting when anyone has to go into the hospital but a healthy and strong guy like Aaron having a seizure is extremely bad.

Sincerely hope they find the cause and can medicate it. Aaron is one of the best bass fishing ambassadors in the industry.

Poor chap. What a wretched time to have to use the hospital system too. Fingers firmly crossed for him, he's definitely one of my favourite pros.

I've always liked him; he's so intense and I love that.  Prayers and good thoughts sent

Yes, all that info is correct.  The Marten's are friends of ours and we're in contact with them.  Carol (his mother) has written several articles for BassResource, and we've been fishing with her several times.

I haven't posted anything out of respect for the family.  But I'll provide info that they approve.

Prayers for Aaron! Get well soon.

Seeing it shared on FB that he's to have surgery for a brain tumor. Can anyone confirm this?

Nevermind I see it's been mentioned already. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

I hope all goes well. I had brain surgery about 5 years ago, so I hope he has a successful surgery & treatment.

Man, Aaron is one of my favorite pros and by all accounts is a good guy and a family man. Prayers up for a full recovery and strength for his family. ?

Dear Mr. Martens,

My name is Tom and I am an avid fisherman, a fan and a brain tumor survivor. Be strong. People win against this type of thing these days. Prayers to the Marten family.

     Respectfully,

          Tom Pollard
