I was surprised to see this on an end cap at Target and figured I had to at least try it. I was expecting it to be more beer-like similar to the Guinness version of beer coffee, but it tasted just like a sweetened iced coffee from a shop. Never would have guessed it had alcohol (or was PBR) if I hadn't poured it myself.

It was time for a new sipper and I have to say I'm not disappointed.

  • I told myself I should quit drinking.....but I don't listen to drunks.

  • When my kids use all the ice cubes and all thats left is a mickey ice pop

Had a buddy give me one of those the other day. I like coffee and I like PBR but not that

Dos Equis is a great summer beer. it is a lighter version of a good Vienna lager

I just finished a cold PBR after mowing. Still prefer High Life but PBR is not bad.

About the only American colored-water I'll lower myself to is Sam Adams...but it has to be when there's nothing better available.

I won't be filling it up all the way  :wink7:

Not filling it up all the way either. That was enough to barely cover 2 crescent shaped ice maker ice cubes with Arberlour 12. Good stuff.

Ah, I love peated whiskey...when it gets cooler though. Almost that time of year, firepits and peat.

It was a little too late to celebrate the Ravens' win last night, so I'm pouring the dram tonight.

My father in law is the same way. He will only drink scotch when they are butchering livestock and it’s below zero degrees

After whipping up some crab chowder, with bacon, Canadian bacon and cheddar cheese. To go with some fried chicken. A couple prune plums and Arberlour. Really brings out the candied prune flavor in this. Definitely dessert.

Edit: Ironically, I signed on posted this and then saw the electrician thread. That wall outlet is the one I tried to move when I got shocked. My ESP again. ?

Picked up some Aberfeldy 12 on a whim Friday. Was terribly disappointed to learn it’s the base of Dewars. Hated it. There are so many awesome alternatives at this price. But then, at some point, I found that if I use one ice cube where I’d normally use two, then melt the ice into it and let it come back up to around room temp, it gets an amazingly good chocolate liqueur taste to it, that tastes like there’s also a sprinkle of dry cocoa powder in it. Surprising. Thinking about going with Ardbeg Ten next week. Not sure?
