Between tonight and next Thursday the forecast is calling for snow, accumulation

of up to 4". "Everyone is going to die!" So, the grocery store shelves are almost bare...

This is the Southern Survival Shopping List for the five day siege:

5 loaves of bread

5 gallons of milk on top of the two we picked up yesterday

10 pounds of hamburger

2 full racks of ribs.

Big bag of potatoes

Two pounds of beans

Already got the beer and whiskey covered

Man, I'm glad it's just the two of us.

Actually, beer, cigs and TP will get me through a blizzard lol.

My wife keeps the pantry so well stocked that we don't need to worry about shortages during blizzards. What we have to worry about is power outages!  Thank goodness those don't seem to happen when it's really cold, but rather when it's warm enough to have freezing rain.

Between the Corona Virus and snow storms we have more toilet paper in the one closet than a janitorial service would have in their warehouse.

If this weather keeps up Mexico is going to build a wall to keep you southern boys from running from a little snow.

That's what would be on my list. Let the wife unit handle the rest.

I mean...that grocery list sounds like a decent party... I'll never forget three weeks in Memphis without power in the ice storm of 94.

24 degrees and 35mph winds right now, gusting to 50. Expecting a foot of snow overnight.  Generator all set. Rum & coke at the ready.

Let's do this!

I thought that was

Snow
It won't be long before we'll all be there with snow
Snow
I want to wash my hands, my face and hair with snow

Snow
I long to clear a path and lift a spade of snow
Snow
Oh, to see a great big man entirely made of snow”

Y'all can laugh all y'all want, 2 days ago it was 72° & big momma was running around wanting to spew eggs everywhere.

Guess what in a week she'll be back, I'll be chasing her, & y'all still be frozen in!
