Hitting the water this weekend - who's with me!

Little hard to get the canoe on the water just yet...taken just 2 days ago.

I'm hoping to be out at first light tomorrow. Should be 63° at sunrise!

Going out Saturday here in Pennsylvania.  Should be about 50 degrees in the afternoon.  We had a few 65 - 70 degree days in a row, so I'm hoping that warmer the fish up a bit.

I never stop fishing. NEVER! Twice a week every week has been prescribed by my psychotherapist or I get CRAZY EYES and start speaking/typing in unidentified languages. ? I seriously don't know how y'all do it.

Gonna hit the trout stream this weekend.... hoping to get the boat out of storage next week.

I think it’s got something to do with lifting the fish by the line! ?

I got all amped up and went Wednesday after a few warm days around here.  The water was a bit colder than I expected and the fish were not feeling the same excitement I was.  Maybe this weekend will be better!

I have had that feeling before.

If they tell you bass don't bite on big stuff right after ice-out and that you have to use small lures, don't believe them. I caught a nice bass today on a 1 oz. weedless Dardevle spoon.    ?                jj

The trees have not formed any buds on them yet but it didn't stop me from going out twice last week.  On the first attempt, I had one disinterested follow and on the second, not a thing.  I didn't expect great things anyway.

We are just getting over heavy rains and record flooding around here. Supposed to have more cold rain over the weekend. I won't be going anywhere. I still need to see about getting new batteries for my boat.

I should have a enough open water to cast in by tomorrow afternoon. I won’t catch anything. I just want to stand in the sun and swim a couple of baits.

Just put some fresh InvisX on the kayak jig and cranking rods this morning. First online tourny of the year starts tomorrow.
