Well...there's always the angle-grinder route.

I knocked my front teeth out using an angle grinder.

You should look through the thread to see what I've done so far...

I'm sure you won't but I'll mention it.

DON'T SILICON TREAT THE BUNK BOARDS !!!!!!

If you ever have to only do the back 2 feet. About 1.5 years now since I did and it's just starting to wear off. I figure Sep 2022 it will be good.

Don't plan on it - the wood bunks are 'temporary'...probably next year replace them with Ultimate Bunks.

A-Jay put those on under his Lund and loves them...just not in the budget for this year.

Feet installed - working on the main runs for the subfloor now. Right side is done and riveted in place, almost done with the left...couple more risers to rivet then the main run to be cut to length and riveted.

Short hiatus in the build - wife was in the hospital for a bit and now needs more care at home...but the main runs are now done and once I get the cross-braces in it'll be time to set up for pour-foam.

It was just a sub-cutaneous infection that they cut out. Now it's a once-a-day bandage change and she's bed-bound for a bit. Nothing drastic or life-threatening.

I've been working the last couple weeks when I can.

Got the main part of the sub-floor framed in, and now I'm cutting and fitting Styrofoam preparatory to doing the pour-foam.

I ran one with a cutoff wheel into my chest, a whole lot of stitches later I realized I should have just let it hit the floor after it kicked out of my hand, instead of trying to catch it!?  By the way MN Fisher looks like you are well on your way.  Nice looking work!

Cutting and fitting of the Styrofoam continues...another day and it should be done. Glue the outside pieces to the side channels, then some 1" wide bar aluminum for hold-downs (to prevent the pour foam expansion from dislodging the Styrofoam) and I'll be ready to pour.

I'll probably film part of the Styrofoam installation tomorrow or Thursday...when ever I get back to working on it.

More work done today - and yes, once it's edited there will be a vid up. Almost done with the Styrofoam. All the small pieces are in and the starboard side is notched and fitted. Port side left to notch and final fitting, then it's gluing and bar-stock for hold-downs.
