It truly is the best Resource for Bass fisherman & fisherwoman. You named it right Glenn.

When I first saw " The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide", I thought yeah right!

You got it right boss! ?

A lot of good people sharing a lot of good information.

It's a very nice forum indeed, expecially the gui and smoothness in comparison to many other clunky forums. There is always room for improvement of corse, and would change a few things here or there (making it easier to upload HD hief/jpg images, or change a few rules)but all in all its pretty Dang good. Again cannot stress enough, has the smoothest GUI and flow in comparison to many other forums out there.

I like this forum because I can sit back, listen to what others say and apply what works for me. I don't post much, but do contribute where I have experience or a strong opinion. So far all I have received is gratitude and respect from other members. Great site.

I think Glenn founded this forum on several values.

A common interest.

Sharing that interest and knowledge.

Mutual respect.

Common courtesy.

Tempered egos.

Understanding all have different experience levels.

That’s a foundation for success.  But what separates BR is you!  All of you bring diversity as anglers and as people.  When a member shares I know it’s from a perspective other than anyone else’s and that keeps me reading.  I also Appreciate what you bring. You have what I need.  You guys and gals may not grasp it, but there is a real sense of fellowship here.  I gotta stop.

I also like this place because of the different points of view. It’s cool to see how differently those from the north fish compared to us here in the south. Also this forum is heavily traveled by pond and bank fisherman It seems, and they have a different viewpoint than bass boat guys on large lakes.

The knowledge available is incredible. The site moderators do an outstanding job. The content organization is head and shoulders above other forums I’ve visited. The members, for the most part, aren’t here to push an agenda.  They’re here to learn or to teach.

This is my bass fishing go to site.

I love this thread.

I haven't been an "active" member for too long here, but since I have been, actually met someone from this site for a day of fishing who taught me a ton about the jerkbait! Now, the water temps are reaching 90 degrees here and I'm still whacking em on it if you can believe that! All it took was me spending a day with someone with condifence in something that I didn't know much about...

Also, I love the continued effort by admins and moderators to keep the content organized. Really helps my adhd brain in this adhd world we live in.

I appreciate the Bass Resource community for the free flow of ideas. It’s the willingness of members to share their vast knowledge, various experiences and different approaches to catching bass. It’s because of this I have learned of different tackle and techniques and made me a better angler.

@Glenn works hard to keep the tom foolery at bay, it's why everyone can freely share info. I love bass resource, I plead the 5th on how often I read fishing info..........

@Trox, you can thank @roadwarrior for a lot of the content organization, he's relentless!!!  Anyone who has been in my boat knows that's not my strong suit haha

Lots of knowledgeable fisherman here willing to participate in discussions.  No politics allowed, it’s a place to escape all the BS!  Keep doing what your doing, it works!

I've shared this elsewhere, but I really appreciate the fact that there's no fishing snobbery here. You can have two guys asking for a $300 reel recommendation and a $30 reel recommendation, and they will both be taken seriously.  Bank fishermen are treated the same as those fishing out of a $100K rig. How often have we had serious discussions about Megabass jerkbaits and baits in the $1.00 bin at Walmart?

I belong to 3 fishing forums. This one, a huge saltwater centered one and a local one to my county I live in. This one is by far the best one on the net as far as Bass fishing goes IMHO and a huge part of that is because the member are super helpful to their fellow anglers. Good job guys and gals. Keep up the good work.

Just stumbled on this....

This site is what it is because of this man, I think. He sets the tone and I dunno maybe it's the moustache.... I just like the guy. We're great too though I suppose! Well you guys are anyways.

Because its a better read than work emails.
