Did zoom go up in price

Featured Replies

I was checking out some zoom products on TW today and it seems like many products are $1 more expensive than before. Was this a recent change? or have I not noticed it

Definitely, and without the clamshell packaging it turns me even more off towards them. Half of most everything from them is instantly unusable unless you try to fix it with boiling water. If that's the case, and they're upping the prices, why bother.

I wouldn’t judge the prices by TW. Over the last couple of years they have been changing their pricing structure. Decent pricing, but no longer below msrp like in the past.

Yep - place I order my Zoom plastics from is lower than TW...not quite $1 less, but in most cases $0.80 less

No, I can't say it as they're on the 'naughty list'.

The best baits to see the pricing structure change on TW is Rage baits, the new baits they added 6.99 vs the older baits 5.99.

My wife has taught me how to bargain shop so I notice price increases on tackle right away, but put me in a grocery store I have little clue as to what is or isn't a good price.

Everything has gone up in price the last couple years.

All the baits have gone up a little bit. It's costing everyone a little bit more to go fishing these days.

Online they probably are. I know at Dick's they have definetley gone up a lot. Walmart I believe has stayed the same.

I've never had a problem with Zoom being unusable (they aren't the best by any means but they have worked fine for me). It's all about personal preference though.

See at my Walmart flukes recent went from 2.97 to 3.50 or so. Still a great barging and I understand that the price of everything is going up. Zoom is still well worth the price imo

I’m just glad to see their products back on the shelf

Just another reason wife and i are fishing the dams as we usually come home with walleye and we enjoy eating it.

The price of fresh walleye filets in the grocery stores here are $24.00 a pound and that justifies the cost of bait we use to catch them.

Now if we could only sell our catch to the grocer it would be a money maker.

Academy seems to be the cheapest place.  Twice in the past couple months, they had a 20% off sitewide sale, and you get an additional 5% off if you use your academy card.

I have their card primarily for free shipping on orders over $15. The extra 5% is a nice bonus.
