Are you talking fluorocarbon?

The only fluorocarbon I use is Sunline Snyper. Knot strength is what I'm looking for.

I use sniper but I really hate us using anything except braid.

I've never used Assassin but Sniper is my go to fluoro. I have used Sunline's budget fluoro, just called Super, and found it to be a great cheap option. Their mono lines I've used were really good too. In other words, Sunline makes good line and I'm sure Assassin is worth trying out. In fact, I have 4 spools of Sniper and 3 spools of Defier Armilo being delivered today or tomorrow.

I like to grab a spool of Sniper when I order a jdm reel. Free shipping with the reel and 300 yards of sniper for like $15. Hard to beat.

Shooter Sniper FC, either BMS or Invisible.

I have used both regular US Sniper and it's softer than Assisan but I wasn't thrilled with either one. I tend to like Invizx better.  The BMS and Invisible versions have been awesome for me though. I like them as well as Tatsu.

The easiest way to put it is the FC material used. Sniper is a premier line made with a better-grade FC, Assassin is made with above-entry-level FC material making it a middle-of-the-pack option.

Sniper is awesome stuff.   The 16lb is super manageable.   I could see the 8lb being in line with InvisX which I use on my spinning gear.   Might try it on there next.

My 16 lb sniper is not super manageable.  Worse that 20 lb big game honestly. I do love the stuff though.  I only use 16 lbs and up for pitching on jig rods or big baits. For casting I use 14 lbs on MH rods.  Above 14 is where the manageability of sniper becomes annoying for me.  I don't and won't use line goop because that's the one thing more annoying than a stiff line.  Smearing that crap everywhere and having to always have a tube of it around to go fishing.

The duality of opinions on the internet.....back to back replies, one says 16lb is super manageable, the other says it's not super manageable ?

I use 20lb and It seems manageable to me.

Assassin is hard to beat for the price. I don’t think I can mention the store but there’s one online that sells 660 yd spools for like $27-32 bucks.

I haven't used Assassin, but have used Sniper and love it. Spooled 16lb on a Zillion G and Alphas sv tw and had 0 issues with it that weren't caused by my own stupidity. Extremely manageable on the sv reels, and had no need for line conditioner with it on either reel.

Assassin is softer and has a little more stretch than Sniper and works better for moving baits. Sniper has better knot strength
