Road To The Superbowl 2024

yup, happens in every single parade out there pretty much.  I believe the Chiefs had an actual police chase on parade day on the route itself.  People in NE were arrested at their parades and if i recall correctly, way back when the cowboys were relevant 3 decades ago and had a parade they set a vehicle on fire that was being driven by one of the players.

For the first time in my 40 years of life the Lions have the best record in the NFL! ?

  • This is all so stupid. The only reason anyone is hip drop tackling is because they get flagged for any other tackle. Can’t hit the head can’t hit the legs can’t drive to the ground can’t land on them,

That nearly empty trophy shelf has you bitter.

So does my high school volley ball team 😂

In all seriousness, Philly is scary good. If we Romo the heck out of this deal, I'll be forced root for them. Especially if Buffalo gets there, by some miracle.

  • Super User

They weren't that scary tonight.

Eagles look tired and I can understand it given their schedule the last 5 weeks. Playing two teams in a row coming off 10 days of rest isn't easy. I am ok with going 3-2 in that stretch and they still control the division but lost the control to the 1 seed.

The defense always seems to wake up in the second half and this game was no different.  Three horrible turnovers that killed opportunities to score.  Is what it is.  Time to get it together and take care of business the rest of the season and get ready for the playoffs because if they don't figure something out, they will be pulling a Cowboys and getting knocked out early after a good regular season.

The Cowboys are simply a much better home team than they are on the road.  They've only played one close game at home all season (last Thursday against Seattle).

The Eagles are still in the driver's seat to win that division if you look at the remaining schedule.  They get the Giants twice and the Cardinals.  The Cowboys have a tougher road, they still have the Bills, Dolphins, and the Lions.  I think the Eagles claim the NFC East, although it does now appear that SF will be the top seed in the conference and earn a bye.

I'll just skip over the playoffs.

Baltimore vs SF in SB.

Oh, I do believe Eagles will still end up winning the NFC East given the remaining schedules.

Dallas on the road in Buffalo and Miami next 2 weeks.

I think Tampa won that division last season with a record of 8-9.  A similar outcome is looking likely.

I know - other than 1 team being on fire (in a good way) here & there over the years, that division seems to be quite adept at stinking it up. Not that my home state team is in any better shape by any means. Their fire jumped out of the dumpster into the dry cornfields years ago & I fear they recently drafted the next JaMarcus Russell. 🤮🤮🤮

I enjoyed a Purdy good weekend of football with the Niners beating Seattle a second time in three games and take control of the NFC West. I was surprised at end of the day there weren’t four teams in the NFC at 10-3 with 4 games left in the regular season. Baltimore is 10-3 and maybe Miami at the end of tonight in the AFC.

I was surprised by the Vikings winning 3-0 in Vegas, good defense or just bad O. The Cowboys trotting out a rookie kicker who previously played pro soccer and crushes a 60 and 59 yard field goals. And the biggest head scratcher to me was an offensive offsides because nobody, ie wide receiver, checked with the sideline official presnap.

Time to get healthy in preparation for Arizona and the playoffs.

Gotta love watching a defensive lineman not only get an interception but a pick 6 to boot. Miami Football Dancing GIF by Miami Dolphins

Both. The Vikings defense has gone from the worst in the league the past 2 seasons to a top 10 under Brian Flores, aka B Flo. The offense was unwatchable just like it was 2 weeks ago against Chicago. Dobbs played 3+ quarters and passed for a grand total of 63 yards. They put Nick Mullens in and he orchestrated the game winning drive for a FG in one series. The Dobbs experiment is over here. It will be Mullens or Hall from here on out.

I laughed out loud at the highlights button in the NFL app for that game. I mean, what was the highlight? Maybe just watching the clock run out in the 4th.

One made FG and one missed FG.  I would advise not clicking on the highlights button.

I did. There was a back flip after some defensive play. Lmao.

Not having a very good first half - wow.

Seems almost all the TNF games have been blowouts.  And yet the network is blaming Al Michaels for lackluster viewer numbers.

@J Francho It took me a few days but I finally found the main highlight from that Vikings/Raiders game:

Just checked the scores for TNF, the Chargers/Raiders game looks like something I'd get playing Madden on rookie. I have to watch the highlights later
