Road To The Superbowl 2026

I know most are jumping on the bears but playing like Garbage the first half going forward will not win you a championship

Carolina overachieved, what a game they are a few pieces away. The rams don’t look right and I believe they go down next week

Not saying they do, but they’ve been playing like that all year and only need 2 more to dance.

In the long run I will be shocked if that strategy works. I know, I've said this before. And for most of the game yesterday, that's how it went.

Against a better defense like Seattle, that is going to be a significant challenge. Best to just show up right away and keep the game more competitive. Its like they don't realize there's a football game for 3 quarters and then its "oh, our season is on the line here, maybe we should compete now."

I believe most of that falls on the coach for failing to get his team ready at the start.

Would love to see Josh Allen in the SB.

The NFC West won all its games, underscoring just how strong the division is. It's going to be an NFC West team in the Super Bowl again. Hopefully the Hawks!!

Pretty shocked to see the 49ers win after losing Kittle to an Achilles in the first half. Seahawks are crazy good and it's awesome seeing Darnold's resurrection these past couple years... just hope the 49ers are at least competitive this time around!

Pat’s won, but I certainly was not impressed. Hope they get it together before next weekend.

IDK, it was the kid's (Drake Maye) first NFL playoff experience, gotta give him a pass for that ... besides, the D stepped up when it needed to

I agree, the O line was my issue.

Yeah...they got some guys back from injury so I think they're shaking off the rust a bit. I bet you see much better protection this coming week.

Look on the bright side, the Patriots are playing with the house's money ) ... Enjoy the ride

3 of the 4 remaining NFC teams are from the NFC West....the strongest division in the NFL....still.

This is lining up to be the same scenario when the Hawks blasted their way onto the world stage and clocked the Broncos in the Superbowl. It was 3 NFC West teams back then too. The REAL championship was the NFC championship between the Hawks and 49'rs, only this time I believe it will be the Hawks and Rams. A big difference, too, is that now everyone knows how strong the Hawks really are. Last time, nobody gave them a chance.

Barring any injuries, the team that wins the NFC championship will go on to win the Superbowl.

I think you're probably right Glenn. I agree on the Rams/Hawks part 3 being the real game. I think if Sean Payton can coax 2 good error free games out of Bo Nix then they will be there. And that Bronco's D would give the seahawks offense some fits. But there is a lot of uncertainty to go. Maybe 2 weeks of rest made DK Metcalf a new man and he balls out for 3 games...

Happen to agree that the NFC will win the SB.

As an unbiased fan, wouldn't mind seeing Josh Allen raise the trophy and get that monkey off the back for those fans from Buffalo who've been waiting for Decades.

Take aways from this weekend:

Winners

-Patriots have a bright future with a stud Qb and brilliant head coach. I think they are a year or two away from being true Super Bowl contenders. I just don’t think they have enough to win it all this year

-bears are a good team and if you are a Chicago fan you have to be very happy with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson. With that being said playing from behind game after game does not win championships.

-49ers head coach Kyle shanahan is without a doubt coach of the year and its hard to doubt them. They continue to find a way to win.

-bills: I don’t think The team is built to win a Super Bowl but with Josh Allen on the field anything is possible and it’s hard to pick Against them. The key to beating the bills is to knock Josh Allen around as much as possible.

-I don’t know what to make of the rams? They nearly lost twice to a 8-9 Carolina team and the whole team looked off. I don’t expect them To go

Further especially in a cold windy Chicago environment .

Losers

-Carolina has a bright future and I think they Are a year or two away from being a contender. Canales is a great coach and Bryce young continues to improve

-packers coach Matt Lafleur significantly out coached Ben Johnson in the first half. Jordan love had a great game but Lafleur didn’t seem to make any adjustments in the second half and gave up a a double digit lead with 6 minutes remaining. Not sure where the packers go from here

-jaguars are a great well

coached young team but when you have Superman Josh Allen on the other side it’s another story. Trevor Lawrence overall played well but made a few mistakes. I expect this team to be in every year going forward. I had jaguars winning this one but was wrong.

-eagles failed to address their offense all year long. A change at coordinator is needed. Sirrianni is a winning coach but seems to be to reliant on coordinators.

-until Justin Herbert decides to show me otherwise in the postseason he will continue to be a failure in my eyes. I know the team is always injured but you just have to play better than you played Sunday night. Harbaugh had some questionable coaching plans/decisions as well

Now tonight let’s see who is heading up to foxboro next Sunday
