Hey Newb from SE MA.

Hello all,

Ma. Guy here.

I used to be fanatical about fishing, as a kid I took the bus from Porter Sq. In Somerville with my friends to Spy Pond in Arlington as often as possible, some good fish in there..."hint- bass like worms here, tons of small eels used to be in there...they were around me when I took a dip behind the Boys/Girls club end docks).

Then I went through a period where I went to a friend's house after work on Friday, we'd fish DE at night, come home and grab a couple, take the canoe all day in different ponds/lakes, then Rinse and Repeat at LEAST through Sunday night.

Biggest fish is somewhere between 7-8 no scale, many 5s and a few 6s before that, and she was way bigger than them.

I'm a worm guy, caught her on about a 4"(if that) Rapala.

Snapped off numerous big bass on brand new Ande 10lb test back then (so happy for Braid now) in Edaville Reservoir in Carver Ma....been told that is where the State Record REALLY came from (Not Sampson), whether true or not I will never know.

Finally coming back to fish, new gear, no canoe, unless I go with my BIL, who lives in Norway Me.

Glad to see everyone here.

Thanks

I thought you were going to say that I've never grown up.

And you'd be mostly right.

Thanks Everyone, I was shutoff from posting after a massive 9 posts yesterday, including the introduction and a couple of Thank You's for answering me.

I was then stopped from giving Reactions awhile later.

Not sure what's up with this stuff, BOTS are pretty easy to figure out, I'm obviously not one of those.l, I actually gave info.....

Hopefully 9 posts isn't the limit everyday.

.A-Jay- I lived on Belmont St. In Charlestown for about 5 years as a kid(still have family down by the Constitution /Monument), I fondly remember the  Carnivals(after the Bunker Hill Parade) down the neck near Schraffts as a kid, not sure if you remember that.

I appreciate everyone's Welcome, Thank You All Very Much.
