Howdy all,

 

Joined a little while ago and have been reading a lot and thought that it was time to introduce myself. I have fished on and off since I was knee high to a grasshopper as they say. I was blessed with a father who fished, his father and brothers all fished all well. Mostly farm ponds and a couple of creeks. Adulthood brought times of no fishing and some spectacular fishing.

 

Fast forward to today.  I recently retired and spent the first 7 months of retirement sitting by my father's hospital bed. Thankfully he has been home living on his own for they last 2 months. This left me with time to enjoy so I decided to fish a little more. I went out and bought a 1 man inflatable sea eagle 285 boat, put a trolling motor and a Garmin striker 4 on it. Right now I am exploring Missouri conversation area northwest of Kansas City.
