Fluctuating between 99 and 101 just lovely

98 yesterday, 99-100 today, and 99 again tomorrow. It will definitely help the hydrilla get up to speed after a cold May, but I hope temps get back down to normal range next week. It shouldn't be 80 degrees at sunrise....

 

On another note, Pepco and Maryland have some nice home energy rebates going on, so I had some work done on the house to increase efficiency (air sealing, insulation) and it's definitely paying off. Going from R20 to R49 in the attic, and cleaning the condenser coils, my upstairs is sitting at 74 in this heat pretty easily.

It's been stunning here the last couple days.  80 degrees, low dew points.  My kind of summer weather.

 

Sat/Sun were uninhabitable though.  The air temp was 95 and the dew point was 74 for a heat index nearing 110.

We've been in the mid 90s for a few days now. Upside, pool was 88 today, so I actually got in today. 

High 90s and cracked 100° today. And zero wind. It’s felt brutal. Relief is coming Thursday though. Highs will drop to the 60s, which seems equally extreme for this time of year. 

Been awesome the past two days...80 yesterday and 75  today. Last weekend was brutal....110 heat index 3 days in a row, never cooled off overnight temps still hovered around 80 with heat index around 85. My poor window ACs struggled to keep the house tolerable...living room was 81 Sunday night when I went to bed.

 

 

Hitting right to 100 past 2 days, supposed to be the same tomorrow.

Looks to break on Thursday, heading up that day to the Catskills for 5 days of camping and fishing.

Friday up there looks like the high will be 64!!!

Doing stuff outside in this stuff really drains this old man, have some other stuff to do but it can wait till next week.

Not bad, just hot. It’s weather, might as well enjoy it all because you can’t change it. Disliking the conditions outside is setting yourself up for a bad day

Went ahead and took advantage of it

by baking a nice juicy lasagna in the mailbox. Came out pretty good.

Temp seem Better today.

Ha, same as me, I had to grill some sausage for sausage and peppers for my upcoming camping trip.

Saw my buddy and told him I'll just lay em out on the driveway, won't have to use the grill

Here in southeast Arkansas it’s been sunny, mid 90’s. The “feels like” has been around 103. It is hot, but then again it’s summer so it’s supposed to be hot.

105 the past 3 days.. it happens every year and it sucks worse every year. 

Hot. A miracle that I survived childhood. My parents actually allowed me to be outside all day long.

 

I got 3.5 inches of rain today and several roads were flooded on my way home. Must be monsoon season. No drought here.

Ya, we got a flash flood watch up until tomorrow morning with a warning up this eve.

Fished a 63 degree river again last night, felt like a walk in cooler. Air temp was upper 90s and didn’t sweat a drop once we entered that cold water 

Finally broke here. High of 70 today and even cooler tomorrow. 

With the heat index between 103-108. Heat wave finally broke today right now it is 79 and breezy

The lake was so hot last night that the fish felt like they had come out of the fryer, not the lake.
