Swamp Girl on a bad hair day!

That's me in my swamp Ghillie trying to dodge the people that keep calling me about my car's extended warranty expiring.

So you mean to tell me those two dead trees were not there three weeks ago?

Swamp Ape nest? I've been told Swamp Ape scat has fish attracting properties. Whatever it is I'd fish around it good.

Uh, that would be everyday for me. If I'm going out for dinner, dressing up for me means brushing my hair. Otherwise, no brush touches my hair, which fits the rest of me, as I'm long past staining my clothes. Now, my stains have stains.

Maybe a muskrat den? They build big mounds of plant material in shallow water for their dens. Around here it's usually a big pile of cattails.

Heavy rains and flooding?

Oopppsss sorry. That’s all the muck and crap  I drag off the bottom of my ponds working lures……didn’t mean to leave that there

I confess… it’s me trying to find out what your fishing with and where.

But, I think I’ve scared the fish digging up this mud.

Honestly, I don’t know.

I wish!  Into a drought again here.  Lake levels have been dropping like a 20 pound anchor!

Yes, that's what I think it is, but I love all these funny comments!

I think it is the Florida Skunk Ape. He is the souths version of bigfoot. Many floridians claim to have seen him in the everglades. Maybe he took a vacation up north? If you want to have some fun and go down that rabbit hole,  just google (Florida Skunk Ape).

This might be the answer.  It was hidden from higher water levels but after they have dropped due to drought, it's now obvious.

Muskrat houses are built above water, not below.  So that's not what it is if the water level was above it previously.

My theory (other than swamp girl) is that it's just a clump of vegetation/debris that was on the tree that's been there for a while.  You only can now see it because of lower water levels.

Well, I know it’s not his son because he is my fishing partner.

Yeah, Taco Bell can cause some intestinal damage, so I totally believe this.

I usually smarten up for a few months and then repeat my mistakes. Thankfully there is no White Castle here.
