OK - I thought that this was really cool and I hope that you do too. I heard about an app where you can put in some prompts and parameters and AI will write a song for you based upon that information. I was skeptical, but a few minutes later I was blown away.

I told the AI to write a song about a struggling kayak bass fishing tournament angler named Kayak Koz and include references to places like Caddo, Guntersville, and Fork. This is what it came up with:

Sounds like "Bro Country" It's scary how real AI is. I cant even believe videos anymore.

That was very good! Enjoyed that one.

When computers generate hit songs, who gets paid?

Our future is deep trouble. We won't be able to believe anything we see or hear from now on.

I hope you do some more of these! Can you make some all new Skynyrd? And Outlaws and Allman Brothers? I need some new Southern rock! Don't care if it is real or not. Anything is better than what real musicians are making today. Program it for the classic 70's sound! FreeBird take 2!

Now that right there is at least Top 10 Country music material - got me to smile, laugh and a tear roll down my cheek ... All things that make a Country song #1 !!!

I was blown away when I heard it. I especially loved the line about "chasing green ghosts."

I'm going to see if I can refine it and then lay that track to my own video and photos.

Listening to Mike Rowe’s podcast.

Here’s a version I like better. But more edits coming tonight.

This song is terrific—vivid, cinematic, and full of hard-earned heart.

What makes it stand out most is how authentically it captures the grind and romance of chasing a dream. The lyrics paint scene after scene with sharp, memorable detail: the “gas-station thermos,” “Caddo fog thick as secrets,” “sleepin’ in the truck by the ramp light beam.” Those lines don’t just describe a lifestyle—they put you in it. You can smell the coffee, feel the rain, and see the headlamp glow.

The chorus is especially strong. “Kayak Koz, chasin’ green ghosts” is a great hook—poetic, catchy, and perfectly tuned to the obsession at the center of the song. It gives the whole piece a mythic quality, turning tournament fishing into something bigger: a test of grit, faith, sacrifice, and persistence. The line “Some days they bite, some days they win” is excellent—simple, clever, and painfully true.

Another strength is the balance between toughness and vulnerability. This isn’t just a song about fishing; it’s a song about belief. The thin bankroll, the bad weather, the empty screen, the call from Mama, the stubborn refusal to quit—it all builds a portrait of someone who keeps going because hope matters more than comfort. That gives the song emotional weight, not just atmosphere.

The structure works beautifully too. Each verse expands the world, moving from Caddo to Fork to Guntersville, making the journey feel bigger and more epic without losing its intimacy. By the time the final chorus lands, it feels earned. And that closing thought—“hope’s on a hook / Every time he ties that line”—is the kind of ending that lingers.

Overall, this is a deeply evocative, well-crafted song with strong imagery, a memorable chorus, and a genuine emotional core. It feels honest, specific, and full of life. For anyone who has ever chased something uncertain with everything they had, it hits home.

  • Full disclosure. I had a little help from AI writing this review. 🤣

Even further back..........

I find it amazing how far AI has come. I remember watching The Matrix in the late ‘90s thinking that it was just a pipe dream. I mean, c’mon, it’s a science fiction movie based on artificial intelligence!

And here were are.

I like the song Koz

I guess I’m so old school I can’t log in to it so I guess you’ll just have to sing it and post your own video version on BR.

I unpublished that first one and have a refined and hopefully final version here:

OK - now I'm having more fun with this. I took a phrase from the first song, Five Fish Dream, and created another song about an 8 year old boy that dreams of becoming a Bassmaster Classic Champion.

How do I put that in my 'favorites'?

Because I'm a creator, I can download the songs and then use iTunes on my PC to upload them to my iPhone music library. I did go to the song page without logging but there was no option to download. But if someone want to create an account on the site, see if you can then download the file yourself. If that doesn't work, I may post the files somewhere else for downloads.

BTW, I think "Five Fish Dream" is the better of the two songs that I published thus far.

The next step for me is to create and edit some video footage, then with one of my video editors add the music track to the video.

Great tune. Really liked it.

As @BassinCNY said, it feels weird to admit it, but I liked them. Five Fish Dream sounds like it could be a real Jason Aldean song to me.

Maybe, AI will develop a drug or Alcohol problem, and join the 27 club.
