Big congrats Joe. That’a big bass for your state.

Congrats, I've only ever caught one bass in Kansas big enough to qualify for a Master Angler award.

Nice going JoeChevy!

If I don't have too many beers tonight my journey starts TOMORROW!!!!!!

You 100% should be.

I don't have a lot of years chasing green bass, but your PB sure beats mine!!!! )

Tennessee has a similar program. I fish there fairly often, but I've never applied because I just didn't want to deal with the documentation process. Based on how cool I think your certificate is I might just do it next time I catch a fish that qualifies. Congrats on the accomplishment, and thanks for the motivation.

Sounds about right. Maybe that was the part of the "documentation" process that stopped me last time I thought about doing it.

I looked it up. It's just a $5 processing fee. I might still do it. I'm pretty sure I can qualify as a master drum angler. 🤣

Thanks everyone. Means a lot everyone’s so supportive.

The paper work wasn’t bad for Iowa. A online form. Biggest thing is they need a good pic of the fish measured. It has to be over 20”. I had one last year but got rejected because the measurement wasn’t clear. So I made dang sure I had a good legible measuring in the picture lol

Congrats!!! That's an incredible fish and achievement. Every anniversary of the catch, you need to casually slip it into one of your posts, for funzies.

@Joedodge, congratulations on the Master Angler Award! Missouri has this award for every fish imaginable. I've caught quite a few and a number of different species over the years that would qualify but never thought to apply.

You have to pay for the certificate in TN, of course

That's what you get for not having state income tax! LOL

I'm sure they get you somehow though.
