has dnr installed the dock at dam 4 boat ramp yet?

 

Not sure about the dock but that area was closed so they could re-build the bridge. I think the bridge is done now but I haven't been there yet this year?

just talked to my cousin who was bike riding the canal.said it was open.guess im gonna try it saturday if the weather holds out.

Looks like a lot more raining coming in the next few days.  At this rate, it feels like I'm never going to get out on the Potomac for some smallies.

Dave, my man!  How's everything going?  It's been tough at BH this year, but I've managed the majority of my fish on plastics (including the one in the pic) with a couple on spinnerbaits.  This long winter has screwed everything up...

Managed to hit up BH from 4-6 got one in the first 10 minutes I was there then nothing after. Saw a few jumping but they never ended up on the end of my line. The 1 I caught went about 2lbs nothing special. Working on getting a pic up

Went to Seneca Lake in Montgomery County Saturday. Caught these two. Didn't put up much of a fight.

 

Fished the Monocacy River on Sunday. Caught a 15 smallie and a foot and a half eel. I had never really considered that there were eel in there. Totally surprised me.   

Went to night fishing at BH yesterday. Managed to get 2 bites. Both on buzzbait. The bigger one was 19inch, 3.3 lbs.

Managed to pull this little guy (33") out of the Chesapeake yesterday on a work trip.

 

Caught some dry land fish. Lol

Here's a couple from the last week or so.  Having a great start to my season so far.  I've only caught 3 small ones.  Everything else has been about this size.  All caught on jigs.

Yea I heard... Had to be a rough day

It's kind of what I expected when I knew we were going there. Had a great time, but there where to many missed opportunities and time wasted on unproductive tactics. If we do it again I'm sure we will be on that grass

Anyone know what shape the Upper Potomac is in?  The guage at Little Falls is just over 5', but I was wondering about clarity with all the rain we got last night.  Also, are the boat ramps cleared of mud yet?

The recent DNR population survey confirmed why you all catching dinks at Rocky Gap:

"Largemouth Bass were abundant, however the population was dominated by bass in the 9 - 11 inch range, and they tended to be thin. However, we did collect a few trophy Largemouth Bass greater than 20 inches. We will be exploring some fishery management options to improve the Largemouth Bass population."

Hey. New here. Harford County fisherman. Joppa town, and the Susquehanna mainly. Just went fishing yesterday for 6 hours, and only one bite. A little ol' panfish. The fish were jumping like crazy just couldn't reach them on the other side. Trying again tomorrow. 

It seems like forever since I've been able to get out or post on here. So welcome to all the new members!

Looks like I actually have some time to get out tomorrow. Thought about Black Hills but no clue what the condition are like there (mostly interested in clarity). Anyone been to Cunningham Falls? Any suggestions are welcome!
