  1. I would buy a Shimano Citica off Ebay for $100 to your door. 8-) Can't beat this reel at this price point.
  2. Shimano Chronarch BPV on sale at ***.
  3. I have thrown it around in the pool and it seems like any other lipless crank. One thing that will stick out immediately is the size and weight. It slightly bigger the size 8 rattln' rap, but is much heavier. The bottom line is does it catch fish. I will let you know in two weeks. ;D
  4. X2. I am done with BPS. Just about everything they sell is at least $1 more than *** plus you have to pay tax. Customer service is terrible.
  5. Do you like mustard or ketchup?
  6. I would get a Loomis GLX BCR854 with a Curado E7. Both can be had for around $500 off Ebay.
  7. I would consider getting the crankbait 845 for medium cranks and small spinnerbaits.
  8. After looking in my crystal ball I see you selling your Revo's and buying an Alpha.
  9. The XPS floruocarbon is actually pretty good. I used it and have had no problems when treated with KVD line conditioner. Check out this link: http://www.tackletour.com/reviewfluorocarbontest.html
  10. Yeap. I love the red eye shad, but like most Strike King cranks the quality is not there. I have since got rid of all my SK cranks (except for a few red eyes). Junk IMO.
  11. Powells are very nice rods for the money. I don't think you can go wrong. There frog rod has gotten rave reviews, but I haven't tried it yet. I am looking at getting a Powell 806 for deep cranking.
  12. It is basically a lipper tool like a Boga Grip with a built in scale up to 26 lbs. It is an awesome product at that price. It comes with a nice sheath too.
  13. This is a must have. I would look at the auction site and try to find a Pointer 100SP. You can pick them up for around $10. I would pick one of the classic LC colors like Am Shad, Ghost (my favorite), Aurora Black, or Chart Shad. While your at it pick up a Lucky Craft Staycee too
  14. Chompers, Zoom Brush Hog, Flippin' Hog, and Sweet Beavers are all great creature baits.
  15. These worms are awesome for finesse presentations. They are as durable as most soft plastics. Get some 1/8 oz shakey head jigs and you should be able to produce numbers when the fish have lock jaw. Wacky rigged works, but I tend to go with a standard presentation. Awesome product IMO.
  16. I have owned 3 Legend Tourneys and the only rod that I ended up keeping was the C-Rig Rod. The Carolina rig was the best performer by far as I found most of the LTB series to be tip heavy. The Sweeper Spinnerbait rod is better suited for heavy football jigs and wouldn't recommend it for blades unless you are slow rolling them deep. I think the Avids are a better value or you can get a Loomis IMX.
  17. X2. Ghost minnow has been very good to me. My tackle box is now full of them.
  18. You can never have enough terminal tackle. Make sure you have a variety of hooks and weights.
  19. I really have expanded over the last year. I am up to 12 setups and still would like to have a couple more (a few more crankings stick would be nice).
  20. The red color with the green back caught my eye.
  21. Buying online is the way to go. No sale tax in most cases and you can always get a better price.
  22. Yeah. I already own one MG and was looking at getting another. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. I could not resist.
  23. I went to my local fishing store and they had Shimano MG's on clearance for $140. I bought the last two they had in stock. I just could not resist.
  24. Premier was nothing but a headache for me. I had two issues with the guide insert falling out. > I have had several LTB in the past and they are nice rods, but IMO the Avid is tough to beat at that price range. Powell rods are nice too.
  25. I have had Pfluegers, ABU, and Quantum reels, but I keep coming back to Shimano with a few Daiwa's sprinked in.
