Night Fishing: What Am I Doing Wrong?
try a black jointed jitterbug with a slow, steady retrieve. Throw it along the bank, over any type of cover, and if you are lucky enough to have a shallow roadbed or ditch, say 8-12 feet, definitely throw it along the edges of that. Not saying I fish over a shallow roadbed, but if I did, I would catch 2-3 fish on that jitterbug nearly every time out.

Idiot Move
lot's of folks use superglue to glue a trailer into a jighead, the fish don't seem to mind then. I would guess this would not be any different.

Yay Or Nay--Slightly Used St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rod
alot of folks here don't like the mojo bass rods. I have two, the crankbait rod (7 ft, med heavy moderate action) which I like very much. I also have the 7ft tube/grub spinning rod. I don't think it is as sensitive as my cabelas xml spinning rods, but I bought it used for 50 bucks. It does, however, make a wonderful rod for throwing 1/4 oz crankbaits, esp on a windy day.

Favorite Ragetail?
Rage craw, a few different colors, rigged with a keel weighted hook, texas rigged, and used as a jig trailer. Very versatile bait.

How Do You Cast???
2 hands 90% of the time, 1 hand when using roll casts trying to get under docks/brush, etc.

Bass Pro Customer Service
Had issues with items from Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, Shoes.com, Strike King, and St. Croix. Some were faulty manufacturing, some were improper fit, some were backordered items. A phone call/email or visit and ALL were handled in my favor, efficiently, and with courtesy. In these type situations, I have found that if you are honest, and treat the other person with dignity and respect, you will usually get more back than you give. I will continue to do business with all these companies.

Well, Love It Or Hate It.....
Chris, it looks GREAT! I really like it. Looks "rugged", and still cool. Good job.

Is This True?
Do an internet search, you will find that he was indeed "caught" at a hotel while supposedly "surviving in the wild". The show then came forth with a statement that he does receive "assistance" and Bear's safety trumps all. He obviously has a cameraman with him at all times, which is more than likely a support team.

Checking The Weather
that sounds like really good advice Catt. the lake where I normally fish is about 20 miles away, and for whatever reason, seems to have different weather pattern than where I live. Often times it is raining/storming there, and bright and sunny here. Thanks to all who answered. I have bookmarked several of these sites and will most likely use the "look at several of them and take the average" approach. BTW, rain doesn't bother me, but lightning does.

Tiny Torpedo

Senko Prices Have Risen Like Gas Prices
Try the Gander mountain house brand. I started fishing them last summer after I bought a pack on sale. add some megastrike, and go catch fish. I have caught several fish w/ these. Best part....4.99 for a 15 pack. I bought mine for 4.00 bucks a pack on sale.

$100 Baitcast Reel
I have a few of these Cabela's reels as well as pro qualifiers, revo s reels, and shimano citica D series. I personally find the Cabela's reels to be equal to any of the reels listed. The newly redesigned Prodigy reel is also currently on sale for 69.00.

Tattoos?
I don't have any and don't really understand the need to mark up one's body. That said, this is still a free country and folks can do as they please. they are just not for me.

Kvd Wins No. 7
Well known to who??? I have never heard of this nor read about it. Do Shaw Grigsby, Denny Brauer,Mike Iaconelli, Gerald Swindle, & other strike king/quantum/toyota pros benefit from this as well? How do you KNOW? or are you just repeating "rumors" you have heard that could be true or could be "sour grapes"? Not questioning you personally and I have little to no knowledge of tournament fishing, but your quote "well known fact" makes me wonder. Thanks in advance for clarifying.

Fishing Footwear -- What Do You Wear?
Asolo hiking boots in spring/fall, teva omniums in summer. The Teva's are very comfortable, but sadly the pair I have are not built to last. they are falling apart after only two summers. The Asolo's are heavy, but are still going strong after 5-6 years of heavy use.

Fluorocarbon Knot?
