@gimruis In gridiron football, a muffed punt is defined as "touching of the ball prior to possessing the ball.” A muffed punt occurs when there is an "uncontrolled touch" of the football by a player on the returning team after it is punted…just saying. Not that it matters… Same result either way.

That’s a veteran it fan right there - he knows crushing disappointment is coming even though they look like winners through most of the game… Honestly I felt like SF was on the wrong end of some bad bounces and strange occurrences- missed PAT, a McAffrey fumble, a blown Achilles while coming off the sideline, and that punt muff. With something like the Cl8 Baby Possum, I keep the stock hooks and fish it on 15 or 17 lb CXX. I have used 20 lb but just didn’t feel like it was needed. The stock hooks are large and high quality and in no way dampen the action of the bait. I think them clicking against the side of the bait may even enhance it. So my summary opinion would be to leave baits that size alone - they are not finesse applications where super detail matters (arguably). They are displacement draws.

I like Yozuri but it does have some memory. It is also very very strong stuff so the highest lb test I use it in anymore is 8 i think. I really like Suffix ProMix for an inexpensive mono. It handles great.
