Trolling Motor and LiFePO4 Battery Connection
I don’t use them now, but I never had a problem tightening/loosening my wing nuts with needle nosed pliers. Just mind that you don’t touch both terminals.

Trolling Motor and LiFePO4 Battery Connection
That depends on the motor- of the three I purchased new, they all had different terminal ends. I just swapped greased and shrink tubed what I needed on.

Trolling Motor and LiFePO4 Battery Connection
I have to the same connectors as MN Fisher. At the end of the day, I clip to trolling motor, clip in the charger and BOOM… you’re charging.

Lake Anna Virginia
I actually got married there. I loved that lake when we lived in DC about a decade ago. I haven’t seen it lately- it’s a shame that it would go so far downhill.

Current Favorite Braid for Froggin’ ?
I switched to Fins 40g going on a year now and it has been phenomenal. It is good for anything, smooth and great abrasion resistance.

Battery and charger recommendations
I use a 60 aH lithium for my 55 lb Powerdrive. I’ve never run it down in a day of fishing. I’m on 1-2 all day long. Mine is a non-name brand. I’ve had it for 5+ years.

How does your boat handle?
Taking 100 lbs out of the front would definitely make it sit more nose higher and affect how it tracks. I took the deck out of my small tin and a similar issue especially when solo. I just put a 45 lb sandbag towards the nose and it helps.

What is the heaviest belly weighted swimbait hook you can use on a fluke without losing that action?
I concur with the esteemed Mr Brown. If you want it within a few feet of the bottom in anything but 10 ft or less, it’s more efficient to fish it on a Carolina rig. This is one spot where I do rig it slightly nose up so that it pops up on the twitch. But to answer the original question- probably 1/16 or 1/8 oz on the bigger sizes. Any weight really kills the smaller ones.

Flooding....
I don’t think it’s rained in Charlotte for two weeks, and the temps are in the 90s. Small problems compared to S Florida and Minnesota

NC July Fishing
Don’t sleep on Badin - that place is a great bass lake.

Action of lure question(s)
It probably won’t differ too much if you’re going lighter line/rod. Too much heavier tends to dampen the action on glides.

Who is making the high end multi strand braids these days?
I use the Fins 40G. It is the bee’s knees.

Confidence flipping soft plastic
Do they still make Space Monkeys? That used to be my favorite bait on the Potomac, top to bottom.

Favorite whiskey for old fashioned....
@DitchPanda I haven’t tried it yet - not sure how much it differentiates from the Black other than being 90 proof instead of 86 and the specific age. I’ll grab one next time I’m at the ABC.

Elijah Craig Rye or Makers 46. If you want to go inexpensiver (it’s a word) then Beam Double Black.

When do you replace your car battery?
The best part about mine is we keep our jumper cables in my wife’s car. It’s a hybrid…that was at the mechanic shop.

Stolen boat from BPS
Not assuming anything. but I have insurance in case my boat gets stolen.

When do you replace your car battery?
Well this last one I waited until last Thursday, at least one day too late… I had to jump it to take it to the mechanic for an appointment that I already had, so I just had them replace it. Usually with my 2006 4Runner I can tell pretty quick when it starts to struggle to turn over and can replace it pretty quick. That’s been about every 5 years.
