I both think FSU got scrod AND that Alabama is going to crush Michigan. Washington is really the wildcard in all of this. I think they’re pretty good but it’s hard to trust good on the west coast compare to SEC good…

I got the following from Midwest Steel and Aluminum: 6061 Aluminum Plate (6061ASHT250) Size: .250 Quantity: 1 Width: 10 Length: 36 Price: $34.63 I used it for a front plate behind my bow cap and to mount my troller. If you want something permanent and professional looking, you can’t beat it. You don’t need .25 thickness- I just did that to match the bow cap height. It’s easy to work with.

We had a deer hunter shoot a fox squirrel on our land (near Memphis) when I was about 9. It was literally the size of a rabbit. We had a few swamp rabbits around too that made a cottontail look like a kitten. Always cool seeing Ma Nature’s variety.

We’ve reached the sweet potato pie and scotch portion of the evening. Nice to see a Tennessean helping our good friends in Texas again. Dolly was waaaay better than the Alamo.

Mach 3 and OG Barbasol. I’ve tried about every number of blades out there and everything from brush/foam to higher end gels. Those two get it done and leave some scratch in the bourbon budget.

I’d suggest you fish it more than a couple times - usually what you want and what you really need will become readily apparent. It’ll be better for that ancient Mariner if you run it some too!

What is the old saying? Don’t go looking for something if you can’t handle what you find. You want to buy him a beer and ask him his side of the story and report back? Otherwise it sounds like he’s made his peace with justice, done his time, and is trying to get back to work. If you can’t work with him maybe it’s not the company for you. Would I invite him around my wife or daughter? Probably not. Could I build a house or assemble a car or dig a ditch with him? 100%

Some of you aren’t reading the question - it’s not a gut-hook; the fish took his plastic with a screw head. Those fish will almost certainly be fine. More than likely they spit the plastic after they realized it was plastic. Even if not that should pass through them fine, if maybe slowly.

I chased down a little Shiba Inu that was literally wandering in traffic one Friday in Alexandria, looking confused. Grabbed it by the scruff and scooped it over to the side of the road and got one of my dog’s leashes on it. It was biting me the whole time but old enough that it didn’t break the skin. My wife just looked at me and goes - ‘well that was stupid’ and she was right.

Dude - save 90% of your money and go get them in the Potomac and enjoy everything else in the area while you’re there - it’s a fantastic fishery.
