You’re probably right - Stidham hasn’t played almost at all so I could see it being Pats 24-10. Vrabel appears to have signed the same contract with the devil that Bellichek had(or maybe the devil signed with Bellichek…). I don’t think the Rams do anything with the Seahawks and that one isn’t competitive- 31-17 Seahawks. It may just be Glenn’s year. I caveat that with this is all dependent on Sam Darnold not turning back into a Panther Pumpkin.

I’ll take crazy lows and feet of snows over a half inch of ice any day. You just can’t do anything with ice and it breaks EVERYTHING.

I got to jump my neighbor’s hybrid minivan this morning, old school off my 4Runner. Jumping a hybrid is a little more involved but it turned right over once I figured out where everything was… Would’ve been much easier with a GB40.

I’m going a different direction (figuratively) - redfish in Venice, Louisiana in the late fall/winter. There are a few liveaboard guide services. You can do it for as little or as much as you want to spend, no passport required, and you fly into The Big Easy, so an extra day or two on either day can be additional good times.

If you really want to go big, the 9 inch Sluggo is a great bait. Decently tough but pliable plastic, walks great, and the shape comes through veg well. And you can throw it anywhere on a H rod. I have not used the 12” yet but it’s possible.

It’s like fried chicken and great bourbon. Use it appropriately and know your limits. If you don’t and overindulge, it’ll mess your life up.

Good on you - being of German roots it can be tricky, but that looks great for an off the cuff. Bread is easy without a mixer, it’ll help your fishing forearms. The dried fruit can make it not rise - that looks tasty!

My two Nucanoes cost about $3k apiece. My tin cost $4500 with a 20hp. My first kayak cost $350 (I think) but that was the 90s. I was fishing out of a kayak way before it was cool, and still enjoy it. We had a guy around here that got into a road rage incident over an interstate merge that ended with a shooting that killed his 11 y/o son. Just drive to where you’re going as best you can and let everyone else do the same. Slowly (slower than I should have) over my adult life I have learned that it’s just not worth it. Let people have their space, let them merge, don’t race them to let them over, just do your thing and get where you’re going. Use your thumb 👍 not your finger.

I subdued a 30+ lb striper below Ft Loudon dam on the Tennessee River on a 9 weight and a fly the size of a small chicken. I did not do that regularly, mostly schoolies. I probably had similar palm burn.
