  1. Check out the Schuylkill River.
  2. MN Fisher is right. I have had 5 or 6 boat trailers over the years and have replaced the lights on most if not all of them. There are two sizes of trailer lights. Pick up one that is the same size as the one you want to replace and it will probably bolt right on. My only suggestion would be to go with LED lights. BTW my 40 years old Shorelander is still doing good. ?
  3. The program I use is "Google Lens". I'd say about 50% of the time I get a correct ID.
  4. My son and I were away last week and when we returned home he checked his bank account to find 6 unauthorized debits. We went to the credit union to file a claim and get a new card. The CS rep at the CU told us that half her day is spent handling unauthorized charges and debits. Cards are convenient but can be big trouble.
  5. Just an FYI: I picked up the Suzuki. I pulled the rock guard off the Johnson and with a little work with the Dremel tool it fit the Suzuki perfectly.
  6. There are plenty of lakes in NE PA. Shohola Lake lake comes to mind and it is about 2 hours from Manhattan. In addition there are a lot of Fish Commission lake in Wayne County, Pa again about 2 hours from Manhattan. BTW most if not all Fish Commission lakes are electric motor only. Check out this thread.
  7. Take a look at the Poke Boat if you can find one. I have a 10' and it is handy for out of the way spots. https://www.amazon.com/Aquacruisers-Poke-Boat-Ultra-Lightweight-Kayak/dp/B07VF8813W
  8. Just an FYI: You can buy a ready made trailer wire harness. If the trailer does not have lights then do yourself a favor and buy LEDs.
  9. Next time try a Hopkins spoon. It should give you the weight you need to fish 90'. You can get them up to 1.5 oz. and maybe heavier.
  10. A dent puller they use for auto bodies would work but I would not touch it. I do not see it being an issue especially at a good price.
  11. I usually use the Palomar (and pliers) on heavy leaders and do not have any issues but as others have suggested tieable wire is easier and works as well. I have 10, 20 and 40 lb.
  12. I have a Shimano Tranx 400 and I like it. I have never fished with the others.
  13. I use them a lot for pike and musky but there are times and places when I use them for bass. I usually have a Johnson Silver Minnow handy because I fish a lot of shallow water and weeds. Spoons, spinners and grubs were once common but not now. They give me a chance to throw something bass do not see too often today.
  14. I have one I use a lot. It is a great lure for some of the waters I fish and is usually in my box.
  15. He's from PA. Lots of big hills or little mountains. I'm not sure the Subaru would be great going up or down those hills.
  16. I agree. I expect smaller fish when fishing riffles or fast water. I target obstructions like big rocks and boulders expecting bigger smallies. For me this applies to the Susquehanna, the Juniata and the upper Delaware.
  17. I don't know the name or make. It's been in my box for years.
  18. This frog.....maybe?
  19. If I get the Suzuki that is an option I will look at that if I cannot find a ready made bolt-on.
  20. Just an FYI. I have chartreuse and red JJ's. If I dip a tail in chartreuse and after it dries I dip it in red I usually get an orange tail. I also used the two dies to get some orange bellies on swim baits brushing the JJ's on with Q Tips.
  21. I bought a Pop Max in the Blue Gill color after seeing A Jay's post a month ago. When I get a new lure I like to fish it and catch at least one fish........just to break it in. My Pop Max has a lot of air time but no fish time yet but I'll keep trying.
  22. I recently bought a bottle from TW. I just went to the website. It is up and running but it would not let me subscribe to their newsletter. ????
  23. I have a 14' jon boat I use on the Susquehanna. I have a 1984 15 horse Johnson on it with a Johnson rock guard. I'm considering a new engine and I may have a chance to buy a new 20 horse Suzuki. If I buy it I will need a rock guard for use on the Susquehanna. Does anyone know of a rock guard made for the smaller Suzuki's? Thanks!
  24. I don't own a vision 110 but I do have 4 or 5 Stunna's and I use a snap. I have been catching LM, SM and pike all year on them. I'd like to post a number but I lost count. The snap gives a little extra freedom of movement for the lure.
