I was a kid/teenager when RUSH was in their heyday and I just never got into them. Talented band, just not my cup of tea. This young lady has a fantastic jazz/blues voice.

Yes. Baits can get hit or they can get grabbed. Got this guy prespawn this year. He grabbed the bait and swam with it. He didn't know he was hooked and gave zero fight until he was in the boat. Probably pushing 4lbs.

Crestliner is owned by Brunswick and will have a Mercury, also owned by Brunswick. Crestliners are made in the same plant as Lund, also owned by Brunswick. Key difference is Lunds are riveted and Crestliners are welded. Last 2 boats had Mercs and never dropped a dime on anything other than maintenance.

Steep ramps changes the dynamic and the sweet spot on a "regular" ramp is going to be different on a steep ramp.

Ipilot Link works with the legacy units as well as the newer units. I have Link connected to an 1198 and an 1199

I saw a guy on Sunday who launched his boat and spotlocked it away from the ramp like they do on the commercial while he parked the trailer. At least the water was 80* in case he had to swim out to retrieve the boat.

Dad and I got out today for fathers day. My son was sick. Fishing was less than stellar. He cried at the ramp both loading and unloading. Didn't say much while we were on the water.

LOL It's all good. I'm the last person who would be considered a saint. I was named after a saint but that doesn't mean I am one.

Fox Chain slow as hell today. Water 81*. Took dad out for father's day, kid couldn't make it. Spent most of the morning looking for walleye and crappie on Channel Lake fishing weed lines in 10-12fow. We were only able to muster up drum and bluegills. Around 10:30 we shot over to Squaw Creek which was very productive 2 weeks ago. Was only able to pull one bass from there. There was a tourney going on today. Talked to a few guys today. Said it was real slow.

At my age, I just fish because it gives me peace of mind. When I was younger, the payout is what drove me. If I never catch a fish larger than 2lbs again, it really doesn't matter. Would just be a bonus. I spent a couple of hours today fishing with my grandson who is not quite 3. He's addicted. He caught around 25 bluegills today. I also brought a remote controlled boat to run in the lake but, the lake was too weedy. Anyway, I kept asking him, do you want to try out the boat. "No, one more fish" was his answer every time.

We fish for the same reason people play the lottery. That one day, the payout will be worth it.

Wifey is upset I got my haircut. I wore my hair somewhat long when I met her in the 90's. Got it cut shortly thereafter and have kept it short since. Today she told me I look like I'm 60 and I looked 40 with the long hair. I'm 50. What I didn't say is "Maybe I should just dye the grey out of my hair like you do"
