  1. Growing up in Southwest Louisiana we walked & waded the swamps/marshes. Alligators & all ?
  2. My personal opinion, throw em in the trash can! Of all the hooks I've ever used these had the worst hookup ratio. 95% of my plastics are thrown on straight shank round bend hooks. I'm old school, I want that weight & worm to go on up the line out the way.
  3. I wanna ride! ?
  4. It's the second week of February! If I know the answer to this I would play Powerball!
  5. Texas Rig - Free Rig? I pick Texas Rig ?

The truth is most of the most productive don't even look like a crawfish. As much as I love throwing Rage Craws & Lobsters they don't look like a crawfish. Guess what! Neither does a jig!
  7. With all due respect @Glenn I have tried it, more than just casually. I just don't see a big enough advantage to make me shelf hundreds dollars worth of bullet weights.

Caught on a McDonald's Chicken Mcnugget!
  9. Y'all told me for years I needed to peg my weights...now y'all telling me no! Think about! The distance between your unpegged weight or "free" weight & your lure when it hits bottom ain't gonna be that far. Once you take up slack to work/move your lure that distance closes almost permanently. The friction ain't caused by the bullet weight sliding on the line. It's caused by the "V" formed in the line & by the weight being at the bottom of the "V". The heavier the weight the tighter the "V" the less separation.
  10. Chatterbaits All I done so far is lose 2 of those high dollar ones before I figured out they ain't to good around brush. Not done, just on hold!

While crawfish will go into a defensive posture it's 100% a bluff.

I'll admit I'm a plastics freak! Many times I've pinned a worm together with my hook. Can't tell ya how many plastics I've bitten the head off. When the bite is on I'll do whatever to get bit!
  13. Denny Brauer was asked what a jig bite felt like. He answered, I don't know but I can tell you what it doesn't feel like. He went on to say he sets hook on everything, stumps, rocks, limbs, grass. He finished by saying a bass hadn't wrapped it's lips around his jig without him taking a shot at it.

  15. 3-10' around stumps & grass leading into spawning flats. Rat-L-Trap & Chatterbait
  16. Uhh! Texas Rigged piece of plastic or a Jig-n-Craw
  17. I use "worm juice" for two purposes first as a lubricant because I fish in grass a lot and the "worm juice" helps my plastic baits slide through easier. The second is to mast any odor my plastics may have picked up.
  18. Magellan, Drake, Realtree, Mossy Oak, Salt Life, & Calcutta.
  19. Ain't heard nuthin about details but we're in early stages of prespawn. There was 3 additional DDs one close to 12#. Y'all looked at the sky tonight? Just saying ?
