  1. Sunline is a very good line. For what you want to do I would use Shooter.
  2. My guess is without a proof of purchase you don't have a warranty.
  3. I am with Catt on this but my doctor is not, but what does he know.
  4. I have 2 Champion Extreme HP DX 744 F/H rods. They are rated for 1/4 to 1 oz lures. I was out today & fished a weightless senko on one & a Texas rig on the other using a 5/16 oz bullet weight. The reels were both Shimano's. The one with the senko was a Scorpion mgl xg, the other was a Speedmaster. Both rods worked well with the above reels & baits. 7
  5. My prayers go out to the Houston Family!
  6. I ordered on 3/30 was informed it was shipped on 3/31 by 1st. class mail from Hillsboro Missouri. After a few days I was notified it would be here today by 9 pm. The mail has run for today so I put the tracking # on the P.O."s site & it says in transit running late. It don't say where it is. On 3/29 I ordered a Shimano Scorpion from Japan. It shipped from Saitama Japan & I was fishing on 4/2 in the afternoon.. We the tax payers are putting money into the post office every year to support it. What needs to happen is for us to stop supporting it & have a independent company run it. It will get squared away. This has nothing to do with Siebert Outdoors service it's all on the Post Office.
  7. I Have placed my order, needed to stock up for this year. I really like the idea of them being marked with the weight of it, on it.
  8. Santee Cooper Cooper River
  9. I use the Defier (the green one) it is a copoly line. I use it for topwater & crankbaits. It has good knot strength & easy to manage. I have never a problem with line. I have not used the Armilo so I can not compare.
  10. I too will only buy full cork handles. I now use Dobyns Rods they have rods in all the price ranges & they excellent rods.
  11. I have a Dobyns Champion XP DC 736. It's a excellent rod & I use it for what you want it for. It will get them out of the thick stuff.
  12. No, why would I replace something that works?
  13. You did not mention Price range. Just mentioned St. Croix. Dobyns Kaden Crankbait Rod KD 610-4CB at $169.99 or Champion XP Crankbait rod DC 704 CB at $249.99 would be good choices.

I never see any love for 3:16 Lure Co. No Bull Frog. It catches them especially during post spawn.
  15. newapti5, Usually better prices than on line.
  16. https://www.ichibantackle.com/ These people carry a good selection of lures.
  17. I have Ordered reels From Japan I the past. It is easier to find left handed ones. As far as shipping The last 2 that I ordered Came from Asian portal fishing. The 1st was a good while ago & I received it in 4 days. The other was in the last couple of months & I received it in 3 days. There is nothing slow about there shipping & it's free. IF I order from the West Coast I normally use the 2 day shipping For which there is a charge. The 1st day don't count & week ends don't count But I don't like coming across country in a truck so I pay for the 2 day that normally takes 3 to 4.
  18. Remember this saying! Stupid is what stupid does!! think of that when you go against doctors orders.
  19. I use that speed for bottom fishing, Buzzbaits, Frogs & topwater baits. The 6.2 speed I use for crankbaits, spinnerbaits, Swimbaits, & most moving baits.
  20. Hawg I must disagree I have 2 Champion Extreme HP DX 743C FH rods & they are a M/H. the is no standard for rod rankings. If you compare the rod build & power that rod has it is a M/H. I use mine every time out they will easily use a 1/4 oz. texas rig
  21. USA Retired On The Potomac be careful of rust on your hooks. make sure they are dry when you put them up.
