Which Dobyns rod should I go with?
In the Sierra series I have the 683 F/H & 684 F/H. I use the 683 for weightless plastics & treble hook baits up to the 10 to 12 ft depth range. I use the 684 for the other baits on your list. I also have the Champion XP series in the 3,4,5,6 power & use the 3&4 power for the baits. The blank is more sensitive & I can get a longer cast. My choice boils down to what type of cover. Back in the tree's I use a shorter rod, out on the flats with the grasses & lily pads I pick up the longer rod. It's not quite what you wanted to hear but I hope it helps. As far the weaker power compared to others I don't notice it. I guess it depends on what you are compering them to remember apples to apples. I will tell you that the Dobyns rods I have are well built & balanced. I am not tired out at the end of the day. Oh I am just an old man who has been bass fishing since the mid 60's & I don't work for anyone not even myself I just go fishing.

Dobyns Sierra 683c or 684c for squarebills/ lipless ?
T/WI have both the rods & do throw rattletraps & squarebills on either one but I don't know about 1.5's. I have been thinking about a Champion XP Dc 634 or 635CB that is what they are designed for but they are $230.

Dobyns Champion 735 XP- Reviews?
I have the XP 735 & 736 & they are both excellent Rods. I use the 735 for the horny toad style frogs, large spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, large jigs, & Carolina rigs with large plastic baits(12 & 13"). The 736 for 1/2 & 3/4 oz hollow body frogs. The 735 will work for all you asked about, you will be very satisfied.

About to buy myself a frog and jig setup
When Frog fishing there are a few things that you should know. 1, Use a soft body frog that will collapse to expose most of the hook. 2, In heavy cover use a 6 power rod with a soft tip in lighter cover you could get by with a 5 power with a soft tip. 3, Use a reel with at least a 7.1:1 gear ratio. 4, Use a heavy braid 50 to 65 pound to cut thru the cover as you are landing the fish. 5, feel the weight of the fish before setting the hook(hard to do). 6, Make a long cast 40 to 50 yards you do not want to disturb the cover you want to fish, by bringing a boat & trolling motor into the cover will reduce your chances, Number 6 is most important, if you can do these things you should get to 60 to 70% hookup ratio which is very good.
