Do you have fun bass fishing? If so, stay at it. Every one of us have our own style of fishing and we have our own reasons for doing it. I’ve seen guys with thousands of dollars invested in equipment blank also.

Time on the water. I’ve learned more by fishing than by reading and/or watching. Not saying that’s not a good way to learn. It is, but nothing beats time on the water.

Good for them. Safety on the water is nothing to take lightly. They put way too many people on the water to take unnecessary risks.

A lot of times I’ll try something different AND move. Still don’t catch them like I want to.

I’ve never had a serious run in with anyone either but I have had serious run ins with snakes and such. I’m not anxious to pull the trigger on anything or anyone.

You know, all this makes me very glad that fishing is a hobby and sport for me and not a profession. It would seem to take the fun out of it in a hurry.

Yeah couple of hula poppers, jitterbugs, tiny torpedos, rebels. You know, I think I changed my mind. I’m going to catch a fish on each and every one I can. Even the eel and craw. Might take me a while but I believe it can be done.
