I agree with avid and Cigarlover. There is a fine line between the two. You can be as versatile as possible but without the deteremination how much will it help? Same goes if you flip it. You can have all the determination in the world but if you don't open yourself to become more versatile how much will that help? You need both to be truly successful.

Paparock, That is a sweet drawing! Sad but true. I too belong to a few different forums (mainly fishing, firearms, and chameleons). I now spend most of my time on this site.

My second biggest LMB, 10.5, was caught on 4# PLine CXX. That was fun! 8-) I've also had dinks bust me off while using the same line. At least I think they were dinks. :-/ We'll just say they were dinks! ;D Anyway,it adds to the challenge but it also depends on the situation. Not my first choice for trophy hunting but I'll take 'em when anyway I can get 'em! One dude down here caught a 42# Carp on 4# line earlier this year. 1 hour and 15 minute fight! Gotta love it! 8-)

I have never considered it. Maybe a replica but never a mount. Unless of course the fish doesn't make it. I would not take a bass just to mount it.

I'd like to see St. Pierre win. Hughes is a great fighter but I think it's time for a change. The episode of TUF he was in rubbed me the wrong way. Matt Serra was right when he called Hughes a cocky jock. Hughes needs a good pounding in my opinion. Anderson Silva should drop to 170 and "Quarry" Matt Hughes.

Man...I don't even use sonar (fish finders). Or a boat for that matter! Sure, they are tools that will, or should I say can, greatly increase your success. But whatever happened to the good old way of fishing? You know...just you, the fish, and maybe a boat. I guess technology will spoil anyone. I can't say I wouldn't use it if I had it. However, I think it would be more gratifying to do it on your own, with no electronics. But that's just me. Of course if there is money on the line, I'm taking every advantage I can get. I agree with Matt Fly. If everyone has access to it, it's not cheating.

Like, what else is there besides women and fishing? From my experience, so far, if you have to try to get them to go then it's not worth it.

I like the 5 fish over 10. But my main goal will be a 13+. Just upping the bar...
