  5. Like your sig GMAN! 8-) I consider I've skunked out when I don't catch a 3 lber or heavier and that's been happening a lot for the last few weeks. :-[ Dan
  6. Review of my favorite Dan
  7. Zoom's Trick Worm in green pumpkin and GY's 5 " Senko in color #22 will catch Bass almost anywhere. T-rig the Senkos weightless and the TW's with a 1/8 oz split-shot or on a shaky-head 1/8 oz jig. Wacky-rig the Senkos on a 3/0 weedless Gammy hook to show them something they probably haven't seen before. Dan
  8. Cruisers are hard to figure out for sure :-/. Maybe something non-threatening like a Trick Worm :-/. Dan

  15. Haven't fished those Jackalls but their Aragon, Squadminnow, and TN70 baits have been very good to me. Dan
  16. Great catch young man!!! Fine Fish! Dan
  17. Great choices on the line and KVD spinnerbait! Dan
  18. Here I use these "stops", one before the weight and one after the weight. They 'trap' the weight between them and they(along with weight) can easily and smoothly be moved anywhere on the line. They won't damage the line as toothpicks might. Dan lightning - are these the types of stops that you can reel through the guides onto the spool? reason I ask is for slip-floats Tony, I d/k :-/. Never tried to but I would guess you could as they are tiny and should fit through most guides. Dan
  19. 9 lbs even 26"-out of a public lake too Matt's Baby Bass Dan
  20. Yes, especially if the jig and trailer you're using resemble a baitfish. Dan
  21. You can pitch with just about any tackle but I prefer a medium to heavy, 6-7.5' rod and a baitcaster . I taught myself to do it. I practiced in my yard, pitching 1/2 oz jigs under hedges and bushes. Just keep after it and distance and accuracy(most important!) will come. 8-) Dan
  22. I prefer pitching a jig which allows for a more vertical fall. I usually pull off a little more line as the jig falls and then engage the reel as the jig hits bottom. I watch the line for a 'jump' as the jig falls, showing a strike. I then reel down and swing the rod. Casting a jig won't allow for much of a vertical fall as the mostly horizontal line will cause the jig to pendulum back towards you but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Dan
  23. I've caught Bass up to 5 lbs when wacky-rigging a 5" Senko. I also rig them weightless, Texas style on a 4/0 EWG hook. Good luck with yours . Dan
  24. Here I use these "stops", one before the weight and one after the weight. They 'trap' the weight between them and they(along with weight) can easily and smoothly be moved anywhere on the line. They won't damage the line as toothpicks might. Dan
