  1. Yes, I did sell some. I had three, 7' Mediums and sold two. I sold my EH to my neighbor. He claims he's won over $4,000 using it in tournaments roll-casting and pitching jigs with it 8-). I use the M and the H almost every time I fish along with my MBs. I rarely use my ML Helium as it's too "light"(in action) for my tastes. Dan
  2. WTG young man! New PBs are great! 8-) Dan
  3. Whats the deal with that offset butt on that rod..? It's a patented design by Megabass and is called the "slant bridge" handle. It allows for a more comfortable tucking in of the handle beneath your arm when playing a fish. It fits the arm's angle more closely. And, thanks RW! Dan
  4. Wonderful reptile Rowland! As I've mentioned before, I too use to collect snakes in and around the Everglades. The Indigo is my favorite of all but that's a fine looking Rat snake. Btw, I discovered a way to catch a non-poisonous snake without getting bitten. Doesn't work in water where I use to catch Green Water and Banded Water snakes but it does on dry land... Those heavy water snakes use to leave teeth marks all over my hands, Dan

  13. I'm guessing you're referring to the now out of production, Gambler screw-in weights which turns the 'normal' Texas rig(free-sliding weight)into a "Florida rig"? I still have a few including some with an internal rattle. Since a lot of my Bassin' is done where there is lots of wooden cover, I prefer having my rig set up where the weight and the bait/hook are 'one'--the Florida rig. I started looking for alternatives to the Gamblers and found both these weights/clips and these 'stops'. Using the 'stops' I place one on the line, then the weight of choice, and then a second 'stop'. Now you can slide those three pieces anywhere on your line including smack-dab up against the bait/hook. I use a 4/0 EWG(Sugoi for me) hook on 95% of my rigs. Dan
  14. I caught a 3-4 lber on a Chatterbait last year. I believe the best way to hold a 'cat' is to slide your thumb and forefinger under the fins near the gills and grip it with that hand. Just don't get finned! Dan
  15. Nice Bass and pic!!! Dan

  22. PH: I d/k about the feeder's effectiveness :-/. I hope they are fattening up the forage fish and yes, he's added shad to both ponds. ZG: I was careful and didn't 'horse' her in. She pulled pretty hard and came up out of the water twice, the second time right in front of me and the shoreline. Thanks again for the positive comments . Dan
