  1. It happens to all(well, maybe not Randall! ) of us. I fished in the Ocmulgee PFA yesterday and did not get one bite....nothing. :-[ Went to private ponds today and managed to catch two, 2+ lb Bass on a weightless Swimming Senko in the first pond but the second pond again, no bites.... Don't give up. If it was easy....... Dan
  2. Hey, no piranhas y'all!!! Have a blast and show us a bunch of pics so we can all be envious! Dan
  3. I'm no "camera expert" and that's why I only use the Auto feature on my Canon Powershot G6. It works great but I always try to position the camera so the sun/light is at its back. I've taken hundreds of Bass pics doing it that way and most if not all of them come out nicely. Dan
  4. What SFH and Micro said......! Great crankin' reel! Dan
  5. I use TWs on a 1/8-3/16th oz Shaky Head jig more that T-rigged with a split-shot. Randall uses both of those two ways too in fact, that's where I learned about them . But, IMO, there's an even better 'TW'; this one! Net Bait's worms are slick-n-slimy whereas the TWs are dry. They are almost identical to the TW but their scent and 'oiliness' makes them superior IMO. Dan

  19. Near the shallow end of my former boss's walk-around pond this afternoon, I threw a weightless Swimming Senko rigged with a 4/0 GY Sugoi hook. Caught a 1 lber and then moved on to another area and threw the same bait. This time, as I was just going to lift the Senko out of the water, I felt a bite. I was so glad that I I was back from the water by about 10-15'. Gave her a second and then set the hook and it pierced through her mouth and lip in two places. Landed her after a nice fight and a jump or two. It was lightly raining off and on with solid cloud cover, mid 70s for air temp, and an off-and-on wind of 5-10 mph made for a very nice 3 hours. A light drizzle sent me home. Swimming Senko 6 lber Gut/gill shot Another side shot Dan
