  1. I love their 8" Single Tail Grubs: T-rigged, they catch Bass. Dan
  2. Fine fish and attractant too! I use it more to cover my(and some soft-plastic's 'plastic' odor) scent and to make all the baits more slippery for better hooksets. Dan
  3. Fine Bass DG!!! Dan

Gutlawdamighty Ms Deb!!! You are makin' us men look a little dysfunctional ;D. Kudos and Congratulations to one of if not the finest fishing women in the grand ol' state of Kentucky!!! "We are not worthy" Dan

  16. Murray: Ya got me . Went today and after a hard rain last night, the pond looked like butterscotch pudding. Caught two more on the Aragon cr/bait and that was in that muddy water: Just a keeper 2/15--21" Dan
  17. Avid cracks me up! ;D Randall and I had a similar situation when I went on a 1/2 day trip with him several weeks ago. We got soaked too. Dan
  18. Some fine Bass PH!!! I noticed that gill plate but thought it was the camera angle. Way to play her! Dan
  19. ;D! Yes, what you are "not getting here" is the fact that I came up with that screen name back in 2001 when I decided to buy a F150 Lightning pickup truck. They are very special trucks in that Ford put an Eaton supercharger on top of their 5.4L engine(beginning in 1999) and I wanted to come up with a screen name reflecting the 'hot rod' factor . They are very quick, running the 1/4 in the mid-to-low 13s stock. I modified mine(as many other owners have), increasing the boost from 8 psi to about 13 psi. I use to drag race mine and my quickest time was a 12.531 seconds 1/4 mile. It dynoed at 401 HP and 502 ft. lbs of torque at the rear wheels and all I did differently at the track from driving it daily to work was to change rear tires(and wheels) to some slicks. It's a whole lot of fun to drive and yes, I added a Valentine 1 detector and a CB radio-see the antenna to keep speeding tickets at "zero". I never thought about it before but I must have started posting on Bass forums right after that as I've never used another screen name. Dan
  20. Great article but I too agree with BA....that's a tad too long to wait for a hookset on a buzzbait...
  21. I don't do anything but throw one; nothing fancy. Shallow ones can catch Bass by throwing it next to the shore and just retrieve it back. I caught a 7 lber several years ago doing just that. Yes, they are skinny and long. The pond owner has had the pond electo-shocked and then has followed a management plan to fatten the Bass but it takes time. Dan
  22. Took the boat out in the larger pond at about 11 AM; slight wind, sunny, partly cloudy, and air temps in the low 90s/water-88 F. Third or fourth cast in the deep(12') end brought a 4 lber in after it sucked a Jackall Aragon cr/bait into its mouth. Fished there for about an hour but no more joy so I drove over to the walk-around pond. Caught a 1 lber on the shallow version of the same cr/bait. Started raining at 2:30 PM so I headed home. 4 lbs, 6 ozs--24" Again 4 lber from 8/27/07: 4 lbs, 2 ozs--24" Dan
