  1. Anywhere between 10 and 15 lb, depending on where I am fishing the spinnerbait.
  2. I've got two 3700 boxes of the baby 1 minus baits in different colors and sizes. They haven't seen any action for a while. Lately I've been fishing with a Hybrid Hunter Jr. and the KVD Wakebait.
  3. No giants for me this year. My largest was a 3-13 lb on a weightless Creme Scoundrel worm.

Happy New Year, BR. May your fishing lines always be tight.
  5. I guess it would depend on how the baits catch fish. I'm going to buy the bait that I know works.
  6. It would depend on what the guide wanted to use the video for, and how bad I looked in the video.

    Welcome to the forums.
  8. I like a single Colorado blade. The weight doesn't seem to matter as long as the bait has a small profile.
  9. I've had luck with a Zoom Super Hog, Z-hog, and a Pit Boss. I fish them on a 1/8 oz Texas rig around rip rap.
  10. Today's high is expected to be in the mid-70s. Tomorrow's high in the mid-20s,
  11. I should have asked for more gift cards this year for Christmas.
  12. Cordell Boy Howdy and Crazy Shad. Both in Smokey Joe. Heddon Tiny Torpedo in Clear or Bullfrog color.
  13. I snagged a filler spool of fishing line one time. I hooked the loose end and at first thought it was a breakoff, then I thought that maybe someone had dropped a rig into the lake. I finally saw the spool and got it all into the boat.
  14. Historically, my first ice free fishing trip of the year has always been around March 17. I may be able to get out on the water toward the end of February, but with the temperature swings, catching is going to be very limited.
  15. If the water is clear and open I'll make long casts from 25 to 30 yards out. The bass see a lot of boats so I don't think the boat by itself is going to spook the bass. I think they are more likely to get spooked if they see me.
  16. Rest in peace, Tom. Your insight and knowledge has helped many in this forum.
  17. I figure out the best makes and models for the presentations I want to use it for. Next, I read all I can find about them. Sometime in there I'm going to head out to the store to see if I can find one to hold to see what it feels like. Finally, I'm going to read reviews by people that actually own the reel.

This year at work, I've led four projects to modernize old elevators. I'm taking the stairs no matter how high.
  19. Merry Christmas to all of Bass Resource.
  20. Over the years I have forgotten my fishing license, cell phone, crankbait box, water, lunch, TP, flashlight, gloves, and rubber boots, bug spray, and sunblock. Like @A-Jay I now make a checklist.
  21. My wife and I took up photography about 10 years ago. Recently we have taken up cooking.
  22. Around here small crappie are eaten by bass and catfish. Your pond may have crappie in it, but predators may be thinning out the numbers.
  23. I do well with a steady retrieve. I have to cast with a spinning rig. Some of those floating minnows are very light.
  24. Good info on the line ties.
