  1. Besides Rod/ Reel/ Tackle/ Tools... Water, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, TP and PFD.
  2. Don't forget the Mighty Bite™️
  3. It IS my all time number one confidence bait! My answer for any "If you could only have one"... threads.
  4. I once "retired" what had to be a 100+ fish Spinner Bait. If I had a bait last 10 or so fish before it broke I wouldn't be upset though. Sounds like you got your money's worth. I mean, if you fish long enough you're gonna lose lures on the first cast. Lures are to use and sometimes lose.
  5. Nah, I love the way cork looks when it gets "weathered".
  6. When I was a youngster, it was one of only two lures I used, the other being a plastic worm. Mepps Aglia was my favorite. I would throw the spinner first and stay with it if it was being hit. If not, switched to the trusty old plastic worm.
  7. Any color for me as long as it's the 130 size. That size seems to make a distinct sound different than the other sizes I have used and it gets crushed while the others get ignored.
  8. I'll play...
  9. 3/16, 1/4, 3/8 for 99% of my fishing. I only go heavier in strong winds.
  10. T-Rigged Plastic Worm
  11. If I could only have one color of worm to fish in my local waters, it's 100% going to be some colorway of Purple. Most likely Junebug. Pops like Grape w/ Black & Red flake.
  12. Worm & Lizard
  13. I would say Rod in most instances. However, as @Tennessee Boy eluded to, having the "right" rod vs. having a "nice" rod is key. I have $100ish rods and reels and I have $600+ rods and reels. The "nice" rods and reels are very specific to what they are used for so I feel they are also the "right" rods and reels as well. There is a point of diminishing returns. The key is finding that balance and return on investment for yourself personally.
  14. What are we talking; framing, finishing, ball peen, sledge...?
  15. Every year in the new years fishing resolutions thread I always answer the same thing; go fishing more! This year was not the case. I did have my personal best Tuna fishing trip and perhaps my best Jerkbait fishing bite I have ever had states side. I have exactly TWO hunts under my belt so far. So once again, next year I hope to have more days in the boat and the blind!
  16. Those are the two hook I use 90% of the time for soft plastics. I would 100% use that offset RB worm hook for Trick Worms.
  17. No pics, but I like Pepper Customs Clearwater Elite in Purple Illusion.
  18. My OCD would not allow this. Hook keeper every time.
  19. 10 lb for T-Rigs, 12 lb for Jigs. I like Sunline Sniper for both.
  20. TTT for Autumn Equinox today. The cooler temps are my favorite thing about it. Good topwater bites don't hurt either.
