All good tips. I actually use 25lb tatsu fluoro for jigs/T-rigs and that includes punching. One thing to mention is when pulling the bait up, stopping it when it’s right under the mat and giving at a little shake before you pull it out can get a bite.

Can we make this a “hot weather clothing recommendation thread”? I use Columbia PFG tamiami 2 shirts and some type of Columbia shorts. Sometimes I have to wear pants fishing from the bank because of the mosquitoes. What do you all wear?

I haven’t tried that many colors so I don’t actually have any colors that I would say don’t work. I still want to experiment more with colors and see if I’m missing out. Sorry, this doesn’t answer your question. P.S. if someone has jigs they don’t want I’d be happy to put them to good use. 🙂

So only a small difference between the adrena and expride b as far as sensitivity?

Have you used an expride b? I’m curious how much more sensitive the poison adrena is than the expride b. Does the adrena use the same blanks as the expride b?

Ok! Swim jigs: sexy shad (shad with a little chartreuse), white/shad and bluegill are my 3 favorites. Bottom contact: green pumpkin, green pumpkin with black and blue, bama craw (green pumpkin with orange) and of course black and blue. Is the top one a Siebert outdoors jig? I like that grass hopper color. Do you have more pictures of it?
