  1. Are we talking bottom contact jigs or swim jigs or both?
  2. It’s not. Steez ags uses svf compile x while 2025 steez uses svf nanoplus. The lengths, actions and specs more closely match the zillion but with better guides.
  3. Very fancy setup! Details on power/action?
  4. @FloridaFishinFoolwould you mind grabbing me a Daiwa hat? 🙏 Nothing new from Dobyn’s, right? I was hoping they would update the champion extreme HP. It came out in 2015. That’s 10 years old at this point.
  5. I asked @Delaware Valley Tackle about this very thing several months ago in a similar thread and he said it generally isn’t necessary. Given he repairs reels for a living, I believe him. 😁
  6. I’d take a Daiwa or megabass as my first choices but heck I’d take anything. Beggars can’t be choosers!
  7. Missile baits d bomb is my confidence soft plastic. It catches fish.
  8. Actually, @Glenn could you get me a Daiwa hat?? I badly need a new hat. If you head down to southwest Florida I can show you some good peacock bass spots!
  9. Oh ok, cool! So that’s where the bend would be on an ewg for example, right?
  10. I’ve been really liking owner twistlocks. I haven’t tried their flipping hooks yet though. I’ve got a bunch of Mustad grip pins that I’m still working through.
  11. Do you use a swivel when fishing a fluke? Do any of you? I’m really curious.
  12. Can you explain that? Are the holes for nail weights?
  13. I was really hoping Dobyn’s would refresh the champion extreme hp line. They came out 10 years ago!
  14. I like that a lot!
  15. I really want to try some of those. They look quite nice.
  16. Doesn’t look like a very large gap. I wonder if they would work ok with strike king caffeine shads or Yamamoto D shads. I usually use owner twist lock hooks, but I like the idea of a swivel being built in. I never bother using a swivel when fishing fluke style baits. Do most people use swivels?
  17. I would happily accept donations. Times are tough. I’m sure you’ll find a good charity though.
  18. I think real deal megabass baits are made in China. Is it possible that these are from the same manufacturer that makes the vision 110?
  19. I agree. I just thought it was an interesting video given it shows a free rig and an unpegged Texas rig side by side.
  20. Curious how people think these stack up to the zoom UV speed worm.
  21. Saw this video and found it interesting. Shows a comparison between the free rig and an unpegged Texas rig using soft jerkbaits and swim baits.
  22. I don’t think this uses the same blank as the Steez AGS. The AGS uses SVF compile X: The 2025 Steez uses SVF nanoplus:
  23. How about the strike king rage tail scounbug?
  24. Well if anyone knows where they normally go on sale and when I’d really appreciate it!
  25. Is that a fuzzy missile baits d bomb on the right in that thumbnail??
