  1. Thanks! I don’t fish much wood. Just lots of vegetation and fairly shallow water. Which do you think works better in vegetation?
  2. Thanks! Appreciate you sharing that! I’m gonna have to see if Mike at Siebert Outdoors can rig some up for me. 🙂
  3. Idk why it changed what I wrote. I asked how it compares to these: How do they differ? How does each fish etc?
  4. Interesting. So you’re talking about punching that bottom canopy? I’ll have to look into this more. I’m not very familiar with milfoil.
  5. Do you have a link to the video? Are you talking about punching mats or punching submerged vegetation?
  6. Sweet! Thank you! Do you use the same number of strands of watermelon Dalmatian and green pumpkin Dalmatian?
  7. How would you say they compare to the bladed jig?
  8. I remember when the pompadour came out I was so excited to try it. All these years later I’ve still yet to try one! I really should get around to it. Is the megabass better than the jackall?
  9. Much more reasonable than Daiwa. Only 11% on rods? I can live with that. Can you get an expride B from Japan?
  10. Cool. What colors do you use for the skirt? It’s hard to tell exactly what it is from pictures since some colors look so similar.
  11. I’m also interested in the 7’6 heavy. I was wondering how it would work with 3/8-1/2oz Texas rigs and jigs.
  12. @Delaware Valley Tackle iirc, it’s my understanding that there’s no need to loosen drags on modern reels. Am I remembering correctly?
  13. Ok! Swim jigs: sexy shad (shad with a little chartreuse), white/shad and bluegill are my 3 favorites. Bottom contact: green pumpkin, green pumpkin with black and blue, bama craw (green pumpkin with orange) and of course black and blue. Is the top one a Siebert outdoors jig? I like that grass hopper color. Do you have more pictures of it?
  14. Are we talking bottom contact jigs or swim jigs or both?
  15. It’s not. Steez ags uses svf compile x while 2025 steez uses svf nanoplus. The lengths, actions and specs more closely match the zillion but with better guides.
  16. Very fancy setup! Details on power/action?
  17. @FloridaFishinFoolwould you mind grabbing me a Daiwa hat? 🙏 Nothing new from Dobyn’s, right? I was hoping they would update the champion extreme HP. It came out in 2015. That’s 10 years old at this point.
  18. I asked @Delaware Valley Tackle about this very thing several months ago in a similar thread and he said it generally isn’t necessary. Given he repairs reels for a living, I believe him. 😁
  19. I’d take a Daiwa or megabass as my first choices but heck I’d take anything. Beggars can’t be choosers!
  20. Missile baits d bomb is my confidence soft plastic. It catches fish.
  21. Actually, @Glenn could you get me a Daiwa hat?? I badly need a new hat. If you head down to southwest Florida I can show you some good peacock bass spots!
  22. Oh ok, cool! So that’s where the bend would be on an ewg for example, right?
  23. I’ve been really liking owner twistlocks. I haven’t tried their flipping hooks yet though. I’ve got a bunch of Mustad grip pins that I’m still working through.
  24. Do you use a swivel when fishing a fluke? Do any of you? I’m really curious.
