  1. It’s too dang hot down here! Thanks for the article!
  2. Are they still hand poured?
  3. Ah, that’s too bad. Well, welcome WRB-2.0! 🙂
  4. So forgive me for interrupting the OP’s thread but I wanted to ask a question regarding frog rods without starting a whole new thread. When you use a rod rated for 1/2oz and up do you ever have trouble getting good casting distance with hollow body frogs and horny toad type baits given how relatively light they are?
  5. Where can I find a steez AGS from Japan? I’ve looked and I can’t find it. Yeah. Seems the new rods don’t have issues with the AGS guides being fragile. Tariff rate with China is currently 30%. It used to be around 21-22%.
  6. How come you had to change it?
  7. Thanks! I was planing on throwing a steez a2 on it!
  8. So would you say the x bites is too delicate to pull fish out of thick grass/lily pads?
  9. Congratulations! Enjoy yourself! And thanks!
  10. Ah, ok. So does it seem like with a fish on the reel feels more “geary” or “grindy” than it does without a fish?
  11. Really?? How much less than Digitaka?
  12. If you have more to give away I’m local. 😆 These seem like a good deal. Does the rustrictor feature actually help compared to normal boxes? I’ve never had a rust problem with plain clear planos.
  13. Mosquitoes love me. The feelings not mutual… I’ve been meaning to try a thermocell for a while now but as of right now I just wear pants and long sleeve Columbia shirts. It’s hot/humid down here but it’s impossible for me to wear shorts/shortsleeves without getting covered in mosquitoes.
  14. I’m not interested in the steez AGS anymore. Looking for alternatives at the moment. Any suggestions of rods similar to a power pitch would be awesome!
  15. Any chance you could see what a steez a2 costs?
  16. I’ll take the steez off your hands if you want to get rid of it. 😁 With the daiwas what do you mean by flex? In the handle while retrieving baits?
  17. The steez rods come from China. Forget all about 24% and Japan. It’s irrelevant. @ABU is overpriced Can you show me where I can find the steez AGS for sale outside of the USA? Being serious, not trying to argue.
  18. They look similar but the ridges on the ones OP posted are definitely smaller and don’t stick out of the sides as far as the eerie darter. OP, are they called “kill shots”?
  19. Just got confirmation from a retailer that they are required to match msrp starting July 1st...
  20. Just got confirmation from a retailer that they are required to match msrp starting July 1st.
  21. I’d like to try these as well. I wonder how they compare to flukes, caffeine shads and d shads. I’d like to try and find the weight of each of them.
  22. Neat! Definitely something the fish haven’t seen.
  23. Yeah that’s what I was thinking as well but I’m really curious about the Expride B. I’d like to know if it’s more sensitive than the champ extreme in general.
  24. Not really interested in the steez AGS now that it costs $670. I’m really just curious if the Expride b casting rod is more sensitive than a champ extreme. Looking to possibly try something new without breaking the bank. Thanks for the reply!
  25. Thanks for the video. One thing I’ve always wondered about is braided line for top water. I’ve always had it hammered home that you need “give” to fish treble hooked baits, yet everyone seems to fish treble hooked top waters with braid. Can anyone explain how it’s possible to use braid with treble hooks?
