Sweet looking rifle you got there. Here in PA our government officials just legalized hunting with semi-autos. It'll be awhile till they get around to deciding the rules on it but I just might get my hunting license again. Its a shame to hear about the regs in Cali.
  2. The reel he used is serious money. $500 is the cheapest I could find it at. Normally runs between $600 and $700. No chance of me trying that reel out.
  3. Congrats Blue
  4. Been there brother. A long trip for no reward should be my motto. But remember spring is just 3 and a half months away.
  5. My candidate for quote of the year ^^^^
  6. Just a guess butt...lol....alcohol had something to do with this.

Dance like no one is watching and fart like no one is listening.
  8. Just bought one at my local Cabela's yesterday morning. By the way, when I went to the register to pay for it, they scanned it at $99.99. I mentioned that the ad stated it was on sale for $69.99. The lady behind the counter checked the ad and corrected the price.

I have that same trike. Drive it to work and back daily. Never breaks down.
  10. Bury them, they make good fertilizer but thats the only thing I would do with them.
  11. Pan fish on the fly rod. You can catch just about one every cast and on a light weight fly rod they are a blast. Plus there is usually a chance of catching a bass in the mix.
  12. When my brothers and I were kids we were well known on the street as being the trouble-makers. I bet my brother that he couldn't throw a rock over a neighbors house and he couldn't. However, he did make it to the second floor window. My dad had to replace the window. But the best was when we decided to make a baseball field out of one of the neighborhood kids backyards. We got 5 bags of lime, 10 bags of sand and all the bases. We even made a pitching mound. We really didn't care that the backyard was about 1/8 the size of a regulation ball field or that his parents didn't know we were doing this. We just dumped the sand down in a somewhat straight line and then layed down the lime. When I think about it now I can't believe we didn't get in trouble for that.
  13. Finally a solution!!! Mass Yak, you are a genius. And while we're at it maybe we can have Tom Hanks scream WWWIIILLLLSSSOONNNNN!!!!!! before every game. BTW, I think that movie would have been funnier if it was a soccer ball from Voit.
  14. The firing was well overdue. People have been wondering for the last 3 seasons how long will it be before the ownership cans Fisher.
  15. One bad game shouldn't mean benching Prescot. With him, IMHO, they have the best shot at getting to the SB. I don't think Romo could take them there.
  16. Wish I had that problem. Sadly its just the opposite. I lose some weight in the spring/summer/fall and gain all of it back (+some) in winter. Just wondering....umm...can I borrow that gun sometimes. My neighbor thinks its funny to park in the spot I shovel out for my car. I think if I walked out of my house with that over my shoulder not only would he not park in my spot, he would also probably clean off my sidewalk for me.
  17. OC if I were you I would use this time to try finesse techniques. Especially drop shot and ned rigs to see if you can locate bass. I believe you are right about fish scattering when you get over top of them in deeper water. That is probably where the fish are residing. Maybe making long casts with suspending jerkbaits. I have faced a similar problem with a lake that was drained and left low for dam repair. Also I would look for individual fish in sparse grass spots.
  18. What about Haystacks Calhoun? My grandparents on my dad's side use to watch me cause both my parents worked. My granddad use to watch pro wrasslin' every saturday night. He was a big fan of Bruno Sammartino but I was amazed with Haystacks.
  19. Was the mother a canoe???
  20. A lot of bass fishermen want to got heavy. Heavy line, weight and rods. This is a lure that's action was designed for lighter line, no weight and lighter rods. I've never had success with a senko-type bait when using heavy equipment.
  21. Unfortunately the grip of drugs extends far beyond the border. There are certain spots here in Pennsylvania that I can't fish at late in the evening or night because of drug addicts and their night time activities. Its sad for that angler, his family and all the other fisherman who have lost their lives unnecessarily by being in the line of fire of a drug war.
  22. How? The NFL was suppose to monitor air pressure for footballs before and during the game. They were also gonna be in control of the ball during the game to take it out of the hands of teams. This is just stupid.
  23. Mecum had a '71 Sox&Martin Hemi Cuda Pro Stock Drag car with all documentation at auction in May. Didn't see what it went for but estimated value was from 800k to over 1 million US bucks. Wow.
  24. That big...AND THEY JUMP!!!!!! I know where I'm not going on vacation this year.
  25. Can't get over the name and don't see any need for any more hooks in my tackle box so I'm out.
