Not a big Cowboys fan but really thought this was their year to make it to the SB. Actually I just wanted to be right. I told a friend who is a Cowboys fan that Tony Romo was the reason why Dallas hadn't been to the big game all these years.

Amazing game. I thought they would go into OT but that ending was huge.

I've noticed over the decades that BPS and Cabela's have moved more towards selling their own brand and stocking less of other companies brands. I still like to roam the aisles of both but if I'm looking for something special I will take a trip to an independent tackle store first. I can say that both BPS and Cabela's have sales that can't be beat at times.

Terminator T1. Runs true out of the package and never needs adjusting. Also the arm never breaks. They are expensive but after breaking more than a few spinner bait arms the cost is worth it.

For me its a toss up between Ike and Gerald Swindle. Both have a good sense of humor and both have a lot of knowledge to teach anglers.

Oddly I don't carry in my boat but do when I'm wading in the river. I've encountered too many four-legged and two-legged animals not to be prepared. I learn from my mistakes.

I have some of their swim'n rattlesnakes. I really like them.

I've heard a lot of good things about the CZ brand but don't own any myself.

Berkley 4" worms: T-rigged they would produce in the small pond I started fishing for bass in. Charlie Brewer Slider Spider Head: Caught a lot of good bass putting a worm on those heads but just stopped using them. Still have some lying around somewhere. Original Floating Rapala in the classic black back/white sides: This was one of the first lures I started fishing for bass with, but slowly turned to more "flashy" substitutes.

I say something to litters. I also call the cops. The river that I fish is a dumping ground for old tvs, tires, refrigerators, and anything else that the trash man won't pick up. I've reported people to the police more than a few times. I also carry a trash bag with me when I'm fishing or walking along the river to pick up trash. It's just a small thing but if more people did it the river would be cleaner.

I remember when the Aqua Views first came out. Mostly useless. Reports were if the water wasn't clear you couldn't see anything.

Shoulda kept Kiffin.....lol
