Patriarchs were nice. Don't know what's with Pflueger these days. They don't seem to be making baitcasters any more that also weren't 100$.

Dobyns SSM 704C. Sierra Series Micro guides 7ft 4 power. They call it heavy but it's really mh with a great tip and plenty of backbone.

I had 2 jm patriots. The wynn grip on one deteriorated. Got a Jm signature series to replace it under warranty. I did not want a wynn grip. I have used Jm signature series for years. They have all been great. The newest ones are the best. The new ones have a 10 year warranty.

Yes but I would go with Sufix Advance. Any other mono will not be sensitive enough if you're used to flouro.
