  1. Just watch a couple episodes of American Pickets, where dudes have separate buildings just for all their collectables. You'll see you aren't that bad. Plus, pegboard spreads them out to maximize the visual monkey. So don't do anything drastic. The fact I have a bunch of crap keeps my buying to a minimum. All better?
  2. Tat 80 for $88 https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806480845906.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.11.302322f8inuSXQ&algo_pvid=8286b4d1-d16b-497c-9a3b-95a8bd654fd2&algo_exp_id=8286b4d1-d16b-497c-9a3b-95a8bd654fd2-5&pdp_npi=4%40dis!USD!229.59!88.58!!!1641.09!633.16!%402103080617147177710442076eaf0e!12000037970017973!sea!US!4058319755!&curPageLogUid=nH9gFuiJjqHx&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch|query_from%3A
  3. Tatula 80 or 100 with a spool from ali-x is the cheapest way to go.
  4. Everything has been mentioned, except... (alright-alright-alright)
  5. Those are pretty wild looking...but I'm pretty wild so 👍
  6. I'm sure Daiwa will introduce a new ryoga with hyperdrive gears. However, round reels aren't for me.
  7. I'd like to try the new '24 model...few have at this point.

I use the Plano Terminal box strictly for hooks. $13.50 @ Scheels. It's on clearance...possibly discontinued. Weights/jigheads go in a thin 3700/3600
  9. 10lb-ish mono. You need a floating line for the topwater baits.
  10. Your 7ft MH should work for chatters. A crankbait/topwater/jerkbait rod should be next imo. I like a 6-10" M regular/moderate tapered rod. ML RB in Daiwa line.
  11. My man! "How's my driving?" "I think we're parked, man." -Cheech & Chong
  12. I'd go GLX for bottom contact. Though I'll admit my P5's aren't XF high carbon models, they are regular/moderate tapered sticks.
  13. SJR is the 'MBR' of Loomis spinning rods, and are consideted fast with a nice and smooth transition to full power. Most of the JWR's are x-fast with a sharper cutoff to full power.
  14. I agree, even though I don't own a '21 Zillion. I remember when the Calcutta came out ('93ish). Man that thing was all the talk. At that time, $120 for it or the Daiwa Td hi seemed like a fortune. I was in 9th grade.
  15. That sounds like a dangerous job, especially considering how many people text and drive.
  16. Your post was funnier than mine. Totally something my friends would do.
  17. That is a pic of Jim Carey in one of the funniest skits on 'In Living Color'. Thought it would get a laugh in the workout thread. Boy was I wrong!
  18. One of the best SNL skits ever. "How do you know so much about 'Oops I crapped my pants'? "Because I'm wearing them, and I just did!"
  19. All those reels are adequate for the job at hand. I'd try each reel on both rods and see how each matches up with the reel seat and how each balances the rod.
  20. Megabass big gabot is the largest I know of, but reviews are mixed at best.
  21. Nice. I always go to Japan Lure Shop first if I'm in the market for something JDM 👍.

My favorite 'new' rig is the shakey-head. Everyone had been using jigheads for decades, and sometimes shaking them to coax a bite. Now we have dedicated rods for shaking a jighead.
  23. Most 1.5 squarebills are 1/2oz these days (up from 3/8). Bagley b1 is 2" and 7/16oz. +Edit- I see you are looking for a minnow.
  24. That guy probably fished his whole life with that box and didn't need anything more. What is wrong with us?
