  1. If paypal says they got paid...you're good (and insured by paypal).
  2. Bass Pro will allow you to return or trade any of their store brand merchandise if anything happens with it. Doesn't matter if you've been using it for a season or 2. I think it just needs to be a current model
  3. Tat 80 gets my vote, but the tat 100 would be great as well.
  4. The JM has over-the -counter trade if it fails in any way. Pretty good selling point.
  5. Right on. Before the internet, it was all word of mouth. I remember around '91, a guy in our club said he was using a Yamamoto hula grub. I was like "what the H is a Yamamoto?". "Pricey Japanese soft plastics" I was told. "They're almost $5 a bag!"
  6. 1990? I first saw LC in the states in 2004(ish). They were definitely $15 back then. I just think all these crankbait manufacturers can make a crankbait with good hooks for $1.50 or less, but we'll never know their margins.
  7. All crankbaits are hand painted, and putting a gammy hook on there versus a cheapie costs them pennies per bait. It's all about profit margins that pay for exposure for companies like LC/Spro/6th etc.
  8. Sweet. They make it hard to justify spending more.
  9. Handled one at the classic expo. It was crazy smooth, but I didn't know the new frame was more compact. It felt pretty perfect. I was impressed, and I plan on ordering a couple. What a great time to be a tackle junky 🙉👏
  10. Fondled them at the Classic expo. 893 felt light AF and was balanced. These are keepers. Reeds had NRX/ GLX @ 30% off.
  11. Technology will indeed get better. How long until your sonar unit defines fish species and length?
  12. I agree. Lots of $100-$180 rods on Ali-X boasting 1100g-46T with fuji K+ Sic if one wants to take a mild risk.
  13. Apparently. I knew he didn't qualify for the classic this year and would probably be at the expo. Saw several other pros, but Ike was the only one I wanted a picture with.
  14. Got to meet Ike today....
  15. Right on. To be honest, I've fished as a non boater for a lot of years, and I've never drawn someone that relied heavily on their sonar.
  16. Like in bodybuilding where they have 'natural' bodybuilding contests that test for steroids/HGH.
  17. That would have been cool, but I'm not driving. I'll definitely holler if I see you at the expo though 👍

Right on. Yea...I figured the nail weight would allow the wacky rig to be worked more effeciently like those wacky jigheads. I bet with the Neko rigging it looks like the worm is feeding on the bottom. I'm ready to try it...I like the weedless hook on Kacob's bait

Who is regularly neko rigging around here? I was looking at the '23 Classic winning baits, and in a field of anglers throwing the usual prespawn baits, Jacob Powroznik's neko rig stood out and got him a top 10 finish. I've never fished with anyone in a tournament fishing a wacky worm. I'm wondering if he was working this thing back to the boat or target casting and then reeling it in. If you rig this way somewhat routinely...I'd like your insight/method.
  20. Put a Zoom french fry on that c-rig and you'll start catching them. 4" lizard is almost a guarantee as well.
  21. Academy Sports Spring sale started yesterday and goes until Sunday. 20% off fishing/outdoors and 30% off clothing. 5% extra off if you use your academy card. They still have some cheap zoom. Picked up numerous bags of Z craws in select colors for $3 a bag after discount *Academy does not list manufacturer color names for some reason, just 'green' or 'red' etc.. You need to look at the picture and figure it out (lol). https://www.academy.com/
  22. I'm waiting on that fantasista X to go on clearance at sierra . That and those 6'2" mlxf fenwick walleye rods.
  23. I have the 7-3" ML+/mod and 7-4" MH/mod in the limber line. Really like using them and they look really nice with AAAA cork..
  24. GLX is noticeably more sensitive than a p5 or LE Croix. Don't fall for tech terms these manufacturers invent. You do pay a premium for the Loomis name though. PS- This post was made using MDIT (my deep insight technology).
  25. 6' spin jig rods are no longer made apparently (721 & 722 sjr). Oh well...I can't afford even a sale 722 ATM.
