  1. Man, you're taking a mild beating over this, lol.
  2. That OG Scorpion is one of the best casters of all time imo.
  3. Bad arse for sure. I want both the Epitome and Silver Widow rods. Maybe next Christmas...
  4. I just restocked 🕴️
  5. I order directly from his Slider copany as well. Best selection is from the source.
  6. Big proponent of Sliders.
  7. Was just looking at this bfs rod. The wood is drawing me in! (That's what she said, lol) https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256802814315187.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.68083cddq83qKt&algo_pvid=fd946f15-578c-44b3-8c10-20b6aaee9823&algo_exp_id=fd946f15-578c-44b3-8c10-20b6aaee9823-0&pdp_npi=4%40dis!USD!230.45!115.22!!!230.45!115.22!%402103010b17097483865997667ef139!12000023310584055!sea!US!4058319755!AC&curPageLogUid=BZIkMh8eTUGe&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch|query_from%3A
  8. The old 6" and 8" grubs (never saw a 10") were fatter and heavier. The 6" was my 'worm' for a few years before they stopped making them. Still have quite a few, just not in my go-to color.
  9. When Gamma Edge came out, they did a BOGO and I picked up several spools. It was a softer fluoro with lower memory/good knots.
  10. That thing is sweet...never noticed the black twing. I've added it to my list. I'm a sucker for anything limited 🤴
  11. I fished a great pond in Texas regularly when Ived there, and they pounded a horny toad.
  12. When I roll non-boater, I use a simple bag that holds 5 standard 3700's (or 8 thin 37's) and a terminal box on top. I use the plano terminal box, but if you like the foam bullet weight holders, Academy's h20x terminal box is nice @ $15. https://www.academy.com/p/h2ox-premium-terminal-tackle-utility-box?sku=blue-black&gmc_feed=t&&ogmap=SEM|PLN|GOOG|SHOP|m|OUT|IM|Non-Brand-PerformanceMax-Outdoor-Co-Op-FishingEquipment|FishingEquipment||19660013957|0&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAloavBhBOEiwAbtAJOzcWgZkoUndlhZG48TZgs0X1RUn3sLtdj0weHuK6Y9R_TOfIeDgkdBoCQX4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds I use this one for hooks only.... https://www.planooutdoors.com/rustrictor-terminal-1592774?variant=PLASV455&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAloavBhBOEiwAbtAJOyiOgWWC-d5exv915nI8yC9px_uZn0TtDVRRyk18r2URfH-NoziaNBoCNVQQAvD_BwE
  13. Simmons? If so, I love them. They are the Lucky Craft king.
  14. These are up on TW. Check out the bottom end bait weight rating on the spinning rods...all models rated down to 1/16oz. That 6'8"M regular tapered rod might be my next jerkbait stick. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Daiwa_Zillion_Spinning_Rods/descpage-FDZIL.html
  15. Not likely. I tie a palomar 100% of the time. Easiest + strongest IMO.
  16. Saw on the news this a.m. that there are fires in western Oklahoma as well. Houses burnt and livestock dead. The livestock deal really upsets me.
  17. 80lb blue cat caught locally this week. My luck would be me hooking this thing by myself and being unable to get it in the boat to remove the hook.
  18. The Conquest isn't more sensitive than the NRX, so I'd just go with the model that fits your needs.
  19. I'd be interested in barbless trebles as well. @Glenn needs to tell Gamakatsu we need barbless trebles in our lives.
  20. Yea...I picked up some EC football swingheads and the hooks are impressively sharp. I'm still a Gammy man for 90% of my hooks though.
  21. Depends on the power and taper of your medium. 1/8-1/2oz fast or XF is the norm.
  22. Reel info... https://www.daiwa.com/jp/product/n19wa9p
  23. Due to me not using braid, hook gauge is important. A thick hook is a deal breaker. Maybe when I finally fish in Mexico I'll need a heavier gauge hook, but at this point, the only time I've bent a hook was by trying to free a snag.
  24. Lol...this was me 10 years ago. I used the 'grab and shake' method of freeing baits. I've gone to thin 3700's now, and like them. Plano was happy....I bet I've spent $500 on 3701's.
  25. The Tatula 80 (also hyper drive) is butter. I bet the new 100 is also.
