  1. Have you tried the grandebass rattlesnake? If so, I'd like to know how it compares to the bellows stick. With this exchange rate, there's no slowing down on the jdm purchases for me ?
  2. 802c. I've read it is slightly less powerful than the 852. Best you'll do in the nrx line.
  3. Those brewer spider heads are great. Great hookup ratio...even on people. I hooked myself deep in the toe with one a couple years ago and had to go to the ER.
  4. I have a couple of these. I like the ergonomics of them more than my zilluon 10's. They are a little taller, yet narrower and fit my longer hands nicely for bottom contact fishing. I think you'll like it.... The exchange rate is insane right now. Come on in...the water's fine!
  5. New Glorious 7'4" XH showed up today. It is listed as a 'regular' tapered 'swimbait rod (14-150g), but seems more like a medium-fast taper with a good tip for 1/2oz TW on up. Going to try it out before making a more permanent reel choice.
  6. OG just means 'original' as in first generation of something. They have really expanded the h20 line over the past few years. I just own a few of the original rattling 1.5 model.

Yes. Throw them where you'd fish a squarebill.
  8. The h20 squarebills are good. The OG's have a 1 knocker rattle. 'SP' usually means suspending, but I haven't browsed the h20 cranks in a while.
  9. *shots fired!* Loomis and Dobyns guys are very diffetent groups. Loomis is a proud company that would never outsource their rods from China. You get breakage issues that way and ruin your reputation. Megabass learned this. Evergreen seems to be the new Megabass- good looking, expensive, true jdm, and heavy. I do have a couple of p5's....couldn't resist trying out Megabass's first lightweight rod line for $300 and change.
  10. Those reell grips are definitelly a blast from the past.
  11. I'm going to disagree. Core Loomis buyers don't care about looks or rareness.
  12. CXX FTW. 17lb is the highest I've gone with cxx though. 20lb would probably work as bridge support cable.
  13. I'm a firm believer that the rod is more important than the reel. Buying a jdm zillion @ $240 (digitaka) and pairing it with a $350 rod would be a good move. I'm a rod junky though, and would take it a step further and pick up a Poison Glorious 7'H ($500) and slap a fuego on it ?
  14. A 4" slider worm in camo color would be my choice.
  15. I noticed TW lists the weight of the baits. They weren't kidding about the heavy salt....the 3.5" weighs 9/16oz, and the 4" comes in at 15/16oz!
  16. Grab a couple of Tatula 80's. If those are too exoensive, get a pair of fuego ct's.
  17. ...really resembles what it's named after....a turd. I noticed this bait recently on TW, and figured I'd pick some up with my next jdm order. Can't....it is apparently a U.S. release only. I've never paid the crazy domestic retail price for a deps bait, but I'll have to for this one. Apparently it is heavy...40% salt content. Looks amazing in the water $11 a bag. Here it is at TW... https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Deps_Cover_Scat_Soft_Stick_Bait/descpage-DCSWW.html Video of the action... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.facebook.com/OptimumBaits/videos/developed-as-an-anti-cover-strategy-deps-cover-scat-is-a-bait-built-to-be-fished/10158033061812727/&ved=2ahUKEwiVvZCf2LT4AhWHD0QIHTlgDFUQuAJ6BAhEEAg&usg=AOvVaw0H4-O6wRRytsVQjQbUEQDm
  18. 'JDM styling' is just their opinion of the rods contemporary design. Regarding those new Croix LTB's.....I just can't get over the addition of cork where there should be an exposed blank.
  19. I always have a slider head/4" slider worm tied on one of my spinning rigs. A medium powered rod with 8lb line is conducive to the light cover I throw sliders around.
  20. Daiwa BLX 7'4" MH/moderate in the 'limber' series is my go-to.
  21. I have an Edge FS 806 with a 5 speed concept A I use for large deep divers. I run either 10lb pline cxx or 15lb pline tactical. Both are about .014". As a side note, pick up a few Azuma Z boss DD's.....they may replace your XD's.
  22. Yea, the senko itself is a pretty good soft jerkbait. I initially was going to say "I've jerked my senko a time or two", but thought it might be misconstrued.
  23. Did they really 'develop' it? Quick detailers had been around many years before it was repurposed as 'fishing line condotioner'. I figured the guy whom started the company probably tried some automotive quick detailer on his line. It worked well, and he thought 'bass fishermen would pay a premium price for this if I rebrand it as 'line conditioner'. It worked. KVD is 4x the cost of premium auto detailer.
  24. Sluggo for me....

Haven't used these, but ran across them and they look killer. https://fishing.asian-portal.shop/category/select/pid/364667?gclid=CjwKCAjw4ayUBhA4EiwATWyBrq_N0YgEbq7_g5dd40DtZkuOgs10bkK6IOiN_aOlnDIuum-qxA0JqBoCnOcQAvD_BwE
