'Arkansas mineral water' he says as he chugs from a handle of vodka. That is pretty hard core.

Color or location
Not getting bites = location change. Was getting bites, but not now = color change.

Nice. Don't have any of those, which translates to 'I need some of those'. What is the standout model(s)?

Keeper hand pour worms
I haven't used that brand, but I'll take a super soft hand pour over an injection molded bait every time...regardless of durability. My favorite worm in the early '90's was the gene larew 8" hooktail worm. Around '95, larew went to injection molding for their baits. My hooktail worm was never the same and I quit using them.

John Daly
During my google search, I learned he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Heavy drinking probably.had something to do with it.

John Daly
I'd heard of him...just knew nothing about him or his antics.

What do you do best?
Fish slow. I'm best in the early prespawn tournies.

I don't watch golf on tv or play golf...didn't know anything about this guy. However, there is a pic going around with him wearing crazy pants next to a well dressed golfer. I've seen it all over the place with different captions. Some people love him...othets do not. So I googled daly and found a video that made me think I'd want to hang out with him.

My stomach is on fire. My meal after a tough fishing trip.
Those are the bomb. Does sonic have good chili? Not really. But it all comes together nicely in the chili-cheese tots.

Eating healthy..
I don't eat enough veggies/fruits, so I drink them. You've probably seen the 'balance of nature' commercials. It is expensive because they put it in a capsule. Just mix a scoop of superfood in a small glass of water or your protein shake twice a day...you'll feel the difference! https://www.herbspro.com/products/super-greens-drink-mix-natural-180605?variant=33079484842084¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=CjwKCAjw3qGYBhBSEiwAcnTRLsE-1XRGvhZ9rUX1vVhB3m1UG8uKjz6marF2CkYrlipAMt1bs3m9CxoCwdsQAvD_BwE

Dye Dip and Marker Colors
Black spike-it dip is my new jam. Dipping the tails of your green pumpin soft baits in the black dye gives them a nice contrast.

Selling out as fast as they did, I bet RI releases more. Never fished a vixen....

Show off your Stuff
The Zillion 10's have the same paint job. I dig it as well. I'm thinking of gearing down my 10's so I can use them more.

Black Label/Zoom WEC crank bait help
WEC's must have's are (no particular ordet).... E1/E2 Mutt Hicky Tapp Sand flea (not copied yet) WEC's are probably the most copied hardbaits ever. The Spro 'little john' is a WEC Mutt knock-off. Bill Norman 'fat boy' is a WEC E1 knock-off. David fritts used a Zoom Tapp to win a bassmaster event on my home lake (Grand Lake), so it wasn't a surprise when I saw the 'frittside' crank looked very similar to the WEC Tapp/ugly duck.

Senko on a slider head, is it just a worm at that point
I watched a bassmaster tv show a couple years ago that featured denny brauer on how he fishes a senko. He said he only threw the 6" version, black/blue flake, and on a belly-weighted hook. He'd cast it out and let it glide down.....then pull it back up and let it glide back down. He said it was a more efficient way to fish the bait and work it back to the boat. Hard to argue with anything brauer says, but I haven't tried this yet.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Finally dove into my sale order...it's been sitting a week. Instead of laying it all out, I decided to just show the baits that were new to me and am most anxious to try. Abu Fantasistas- 7'6"M spin and 7'6"MH casting Here are some new baits. I picked up numerous big blade chatters and chatter cfl's. I thought the foiled bagley was nice, along with some 'old school balsa' cranks. FMTC wide load crasher craws, and the impressive looking culprit incredi-craws. That's the 9.8" flick shake in there, and a chopper buzzbait deal. Also picked up some sledgehammer swim jigs and that is a reaction strike 'slim shad' paddletail.

Top Water Spooks - Replacement Hooks ?
Removing the hook braces used to be a thing...so the hooks could swing/move freely. I don't fish spooks much anymore since leaving the Joplin bass club I fished in.

Rod for my Steez ct sv tw 70 ?
I feel that any top of the line rod will perform well. It's really a personal decision based on things like handle type, reel seat, guide train, rod weight, and even looks. USDM....I like the NRX's. JDM...I like the Shimano's (poison glorious/ultima).

Did zoom go up in price
Academy seems to be the cheapest place. Twice in the past couple months, they had a 20% off sitewide sale, and you get an additional 5% off if you use your academy card.

Techniques for Steez baitcast reels.
I have a pair of the current model, and use them for small crankbaits/topwaters.

How do you hold your rod?
When you are bottom contact fishing. Up until a few years ago, I kept my pinky behind the trigger. You wouldn't think moving that pinky up would make a big diffetence...but it did for me. Seems to increase agility and even hookseting power. I have pretty big hands, and I need a smaller framed reel to be able to do this. You?

St.Croix rifle handle
I think putting cork in the middle of the reel seat was the worst idea I've seen from 'croix. Even if you decide not to expose the blank, keep the reel seat graphite/carbon or plastic. That cork will hold grime.
