I own the 7'3"ML+ (fast) and 7'4" MH (mod fast) in the 'limber' series. Very nice, well-built rods that are balanced and have the nicest cork of any rod I own or have seen. I can't comment on sensitivity because I've only thrown moving baits with them. The 7-3ml+ is my fav... it's a 110g rod with mh power and a soft tip (rated 1/7-7/8oz) that can do several things.

Split grips were started by custom rod builders in the '90s as a way to reduce weigjt.

My brother is an avid crappie fishman, and big fan of the niblets.

So you can say "Its not just a rod...it's a work of art" even on simple builds like the p5. You will also become better than most others, and women will swoon ??

22 ounces?! I've never seen a bass rod capable of that.

Yea, just read a head scratching review recently about a 13 fishing crankbait. The guy said he purchased '30 of them' and every one of them swelled and came apart....in 72 degree weather. He finished with "I'll stick with my spro rk55's". He was the only negative review Made me think it was a spro staffer.

Yea, I decided I needed some when I noticed TW was sold out of 80% of them and they were a 'best seller'. I felt left out, lol.

I think discontinuing the Avid is a mistake. I'm quite surprised. Maybe when they upgraded the mojo to the sc3 blank, the Avid should have received a blank upgrade as well. They could have even done an Avid AGS now that Daiwa is selling them guides.

Do any of you do a quick spool bearing flush and oil without removing it from the spool shaft?

I'm considering the 'baby pluggin' for cranks under 1/4oz. I never thought I'd want a spinning rod for cranks, but I have some ultralight crankbaits that would push the limits of any bfs setup. What are you using your baby pluggin' for?

Colder water with less active fish- long leader 3' minimum. Warmer water with more active fish- 12"-3' . Back when a carolina rigged lizard was a pre-spawn staple, I saw pros using 4'-5' leaders.

Nice vid. Really pleased to see you release the fish quickly and THEN talk about presentation/equipment. I watched a Texas/southwest fishing show on tv recently, and the kid would catch a fish and talk for a couple minutes while holding the fish. Drove me crazy!

That's great they have the 3/16oz weight. I'll admit I'm too cheap to pay $5 for a jig though...I assemble my own with boss/picasso/chompers heads.

Nope...didn't think that. 'Promoting' was in regard to my hypothetical of being a sponsored pro getting free line. I buy expensive fishing stuff all the time that others would shake their head at, so I 'get it', I just don't splurge on line that high.

Wow....$55 for 200yds of line. I think even if I was 'KVD good' and got it free.... I'd still have a hard time promoting it.

I wouldn't bet on it. I wanted the 804 nrx, but they were discontinued before I could snag one. Had an old pre-shimano 784 imx that was a bad dude. Now, a 6-10"H is about the shortest you can find. There is a 6'5"XH Poison Glorious that would be sweet.

The conveyor belt ate it. The rod tube needed the large lime green 'DO NOT CONVEY' sticker. I had 2 out of 4 rods I ordered from sierra trading arrive broken with belt rubber on the tubes. Makes me mad ?

The 25 days of savings did me in. But remember, it's not what you spent, it's what you saved ?
