Florida man!
Welcome, you are in a great state for fishing!!!

First time this has happened.
Same here, all my rods are either 6'6" or 7". Bought a 7'6" and couldn't sell it fast enough.

What’s your favorite brand rod? Megabass, shimano, st croix, G.loomis...
Lews and Falcon, not really high priced rods but I like them and they get the job done.

Covering cheap cork
I put Winn Grip Tape on several of my rods. I first put it on my spinning rods because in front of the reel was nothing but metal. Made if feel really good.

What, to you, is a “nice” bass?
I guess 3 pounds to me is a nice bass. When I come home my wife always ask how many I caught and did I catch any nice ones. If I caught any over 3, that's what I tell her for the nice answer. I think my fishing thoughts have changed over time. When I first started fishing I was happy just to catch any size fish. As time went on I wanted to catch big fish. Now that I am in the later years, I am happy to catch a bunch of bass regardless of size. Of course if I catch some nice ones, that is that much better. This weeks "nice one".

Hole in boat.. how screwed am i
Don't look too bad, I have used bondo on wood, don't see why it wouldn't work on plastic.

Bass swallowing hooks
When you feel the bump, set the hook, there is no need of waiting.

No more Evinrude
Surprised they lasted long as they did. The 4 stroke is so much better motor, wish I had one.

The Swimming Worm
I remember doing this back in the 80's/90's. I probably got it from Doug Hannon. I don't think I used any weight other than the swivel. I used a bubble gum work or a junebug worm. Might have to try it again. Last 2 times I went fishing, I used a old system, slider fishing. Caught 30 in 2 days.

My new spinning setup
For the money, I think you did GOOD!!!

Recommend to me your go to fluorocarbon
I have been using Sunline Sniper for years and see no need to change. Only problem with Sunline, I can't get it local but I buy all the line I am going to need for a year on Black Friday. If I wanted something I could get local, I would probably try Seagar.

Car Doors, Tailgates, Ceiling Fans, and Walls
I have broken 2 rods my entire life of fishing. Both was 2 years ago about 6 weeks apart. Broke both on the front boat cleat. They were under the boat cleat and not looking I pick them up and there goes a perfectly good rod. You would think that I would get some cleats that fold down but I keep putting it off. I guess I don't learn by mistakes.

Anyone else hate super slick
I use regular PP on all my spinning and frog rod. Tried super slick a few years back. Can't remember why I didn't like it but all I use now is the regular PP.

Hard Baits Take a Back Seat to Soft Plastics
I use to be a spinnerbait/crankbait person. I would throw a worm every now and then. Now, it mostly a plastic of some kind. Talked to a young fisherman in the same area I was fishing, said he caught nothing. He was throwing something fast. I caught 14 on a worm, 2 days later I caught 16 in the same area, all on a worm. I still throw a spinnerbait and crankbait but now I'm primary a worm fisherman.

Can I unwind my entire spool and re-spool with the same line?
^^^^^This.

Zoom quality control
Takes up too much room especially on swim baits.

Garmin striker plus 5cv mapping
Does yours have a SD card. I don't have the same model as you do but mine saves it on the card when I hit the stop recording.

Powering bow-mounted electronics
I agree running separate wires would be the best. I couldn't on my boat so I feed the bow fish finder to the bow lights. No problem so far.

Broke another rod.
We call them grinnel in my part of the country.

Things that really frustrate me about some fishermen.
Trash got to be a big problem at my reservoir, especially below the spill way. They threaten to close fishing down at the spill way if it continued to be an issue. They closed it for a few days to clean up the trash and then reopened it. Now you have a to have a trash container with a trash label on it. If caught without it, big fine. Now you have to a trash bucket/bad in the boat also labeled trash. It did not completely solved the problem but it is much better. Much cheaper to buy a plastic bucket from Lowes than to pay a fine.

Which Discontinued tackle would you love to see back?
Poe's crank baits.
